As we know lots of time when food sets on the bar it will loose its crispness. Had the fish no crunch whatsoever. Got a piece of fried chicken just came out: it had a perfect crunch. Salad was fresh and full at 7:15pm.

A piece of nostalgia! My family of 4 stopped by for a meal (and yeast rolls lol) on the way back to the Triad. The service was outstanding. The dinner buffet was good for the price, all the items we got were hot and fresh. The staff kept everything replenished. We were full and satisfied. I would go back.

At 52 years old, my first ever job was at a Quincy’s in Alabama. Imagine my delight when I learned last year that there’s still one or two around! My partner and I made the four hour drive from Georgia to Monroe tonight to celebrate our 16th anniversary at Quincy’s, and it was worth every mile! It’s just like you’d remember it! The sweet tea is PERFECT, and it’s amazing that they have such a variety of food and it’s ALL so freshly cooked. The fried chicken and fish were out of this world, as was the big fat yeast roll. Special thanks to Becky for making our night so special, and special thanks to the son of the former owner for carrying on your parents’ tradition. They’d be incredibly proud, and my partner and I are so grateful that you’ve kept this place alive. We loved it and will make the trip again and again!

I’m not sure if we ate at the same restaurant as yall because there is so many good reviews and we were utterly disappointed.
My husband hasn’t been here in many years and I never have. We got 2 sirloin with baked potatoes and salads and his son got the buffet. Those steaks were the most unseasoned pieces of meat I’ve ever seen. So so bland..not even salt.
We ordered both medium. One was medium..one was well done. We sent it back to get one medium and it was still medium well. No point in trying again. The taste wasn’t even worth the fight.
The baked potato was okay. It’s just a potato. The salad bar was really good. I liked the ranch. He said the buffet wasn’t good either. Said the mac and cheese tasted like paper. The fried chicken was so dry. He said the roasted chicken was good. But that was it. It was a very disappointing $80 meal. Will never try again.

So glad this place reopened! This location has always done a killer business. It’s been redone inside (carpet tables & chairs, paint etc…) same great service! 2 hot bars, full salad bar. I wish they had more soups. Great value for the money. LOVE the old school atmosphere! The cooked to order steaks are great as is the fried chicken on the buffet. Again this place STAYS PACKED! Not many Quincys left in the country. This is a true gem!

I decided to enjoy a bit of nostalgia. Haven’t been to a Quincy’s in almost 30 years. Definitely brought back memories. Food was good, simplified selection on the buffet. Restrooms could use some improvements, but overall a great experience

We decided to stop and eat on our way out of town. We had my husband’s service dog and were approached as we walked in by a very rude manager who demanded to see the service dogs papers. Which I have. We were advised that they do NOT allow animals in the restaurant. I ADVISED that he was a service dog. Showed her his registration for service. THE SERVICE WAS VERY RUDE! As I advised her she could not legally refuse him entry as a service animal. I PROVIDED HIS REGISTRATION and was told he could not eat or drink while in the restaurant. Okay he doesn’t eat or drink when on duty. The other workers were rude towards us and the service dog. So unfortunately we did decide to leave and went to another establishment that was happy to accept the service dog into their establishment.

Just like the good ol days!

I was so happy when I randomly googled Quincy’s and discovered that there was one left in NC. I brought my dad here for Father’s Day as we used to kill this place when I was little haha Especially their rolls with honey butter, I would probably eat more rolls than anything else lol

The food was still as good as I remembered. I had two servings of well seasoned and flavorful meatloaf and my dad ordered a steak which he said was excellent.

I wish I knew why all the ones in Charlotte shut down because they were and still are way better than any Ryan’s or Golden Corral.
