My husband and I recently had the chance to try La Parrilla. We were in town overseeing our son’s house renovations and decided to give it a try. It was fabulous! From food to Margaritas (which house was a special), everything we had was top notch. Our server Deia was awesome! When in the area again, we will be back. Lunch prices were very reasonable and had plenty of food! We both brought home leftovers. Just go, you won’t be disappointed!

This has become My favorite place to eat the food is phenomenal. The service is absolutely great and there’s salsa is exceptionally good. Also, I’m a very picky person when it comes to sweet tea and their sweet tea is off the chain we got the tacos this time and they are excellent

My boyfriend and I come here all the time for lunch and it never misses. We love it. They have several options for lunch menu specials and it’s always super fresh and delicious. They have menu for kids as well so it’s a family friendly restaurant. Staff is always great and pleasant. We come here atleast once a week!

We came here for dinner after 2 yrs, the food was the worst yet. I ordered fajitas de pollo and it had more onions than peppers. The fajitas looked so sad and colorless. I DO NOT CONSIDER THIS A “MEXICAN” RESTAURANT. Our waiter wasn’t the best either. This place has gone downhill way more than I thought. The food isn’t authentic anymore, not the same quality. The foods price has gone up SO MUCH! Seems like the higher the price gets the less food they put on the plates.

Excellent food and service! Their southern style chicken taco are wonderful, and the skinny margarita is the best I’ve had in the area! Marvin at the bar makes the best!!

Hadn’t been here for over 2 years. I was in the area and stopped by for dinner. This place has gone downhill. Food quality is not good. Service is even worse. Bartenders need help to make a decent margarita. Tequila selection is bad as well. Prices are way to much for what you get. Customer service is bad as well. Not going back.

Always a kind atmosphere. My parents love this place when they come to visit. Food is good, wouldn’t say its anything to blow your socks off though. I understand with how things are going with the economy right now pricing has gone up everywhere. Which it very very much so has here, definitely one of the more pricey Mexican places to eat. My one complaint would only be that if the pricing has gone up then why are the portions still getting smaller?
Example: Use to get the taco loco and it was filled. This time it barely had anything in it besides lettuce. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love lettuce, but the filling didn’t even reach either side of the taco. Other then that the place is wonderful. Staff seems to always be attentive, everything seems clean, hardly ever a long wait.

It was Me and my boyfriends first time here I got the taco loco, unfortunately there was a hair in my food we told the manager and he took it back and had another one cooked and didn’t charge us for it. My boyfriend and I love the food and the staff is very friendly. Even though our order was messed up and it also was our first time here I would have to say I definitely would come back again. Whenever I decide to revisit this facility, if I have zero issues whatsoever, I might leave a bigger rating on the review, but as it stands right now, it’s going to be a three-star for me.

Parilla has been mine and my husband’s ultimate favorite Mexican restaurant around Gainesville. Our go-to meal is the arrachera steak with charro beans and rice—the meat is always cooked perfectly, and the flavor is consistently on point.
I also highly recommend trying the wings—don’t sleep on them! In my opinion, they’re some of the best wings out there. They’re juicy on the inside with a crispy outside, just how wings should be.
Their drinks are also great, making the whole dining experience even better.

Great place for a birthday dinner, lunch with friends or a date night. Delicious chips, great drinks, unlimited chips and salsa plus nice servers and clean restrooms. Taco loco was amazing and upgraded the shredded chicken to tender chicken breast that was perfectly seasoned. Recommend!
