Lunch on a saturday for wife and I. Had heard good things about Rib and Chop in Cheyenne. Had a wedge (they were out of heads of lettuce) and bowl of gumbo, Wife had ribs with mac and cheese, house salad and spinach. Austin was our waiter and he is an excellent server. He made a “wedge” for me, so it worked out great. Gumbo was bland, no real cajun seasoning or kick to it. Had to add salt and chopped jalapeno to it. Ribs were dry, not fresh meat, almost like frozen to cooked. Max and cheese, cheese flavor good, pasta overcooked. Pass on the spinach if you get the choice. Service was great and highly recommend staff. Food over priced for what we got. Cheese cake was very good, not sure if homemade though. Oscar was also working, and super friendly too.

Michael Scott is kind of heart and a delight to speak with. My significant other and I visited Casper for a few days and ate at some amazing restaurants with impeccable food – what sets Wyoming Rib & Chop House apart? EXCEPTIONAL service.
Michael took our order & double checked it to make sure he got our requests right and into the kitchen in a timely manner.
Not only did he do those things, he checked in on us to see how we liked our meal and if we needed anything.

Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House was on the expensive side—but the steak delivered. It was tender, full of flavor, and easily the best part of the meal. The other dishes were decent, nothing special. What really stood out besides the steak was the service—staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience better. Worth it if you’re coming for the steak and good service.

Great overall visit to Rib & Chop. It’s in the historic old Wonder Bar location in Downtown Casper. The atmosphere, service, and food were great! Most entrées are in the $18-26 range. Special steaks were $30+. We ordered Chicken & Broccoli Pasta and Ribs. Service was prompt and friendly. Specialty cocktails and other drinks from the bar ranged from $10-16. We didn’t get any at this particular visit. This restaurant has some bison entrées and the soup was Bison Chili. Definitely recommend this restaurant to those looking for “a bit upscale” with a Wyoming feel.

Had a delicious meal that was a very large portion. Broccoli was crisp and seasoned well. Chicken fried steak was huge, cooked perfectly and loved the gravy on the side. I highly recommend this place if you want a great meal with awesome service.

Since March 2025, this has consistently been the absolute best place to eat in Casper. The food is absolutely perfect every time we eat. The atmosphere is better than any other restaurant. We had our wedding reception upstairs and everything was perfect! The steak melts in your mouth and is always cooked to your perfection.

We are passing through from Toronto, Canada and found this place online. Prices spoke out to us and had great reviews so we came, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Boudin Balls, which were very nicely cooked and served with a dip. My sister and I ordered each a steak, the New York Strip and the tenderloin. Tenderloin was cooked amazing, New York was slightly well done (to my liking) but it was still great (-0.2 pts). Served with a caesar salad or soup (we got the salad) and one of many sides (we got the mac and cheese). Portions were amazing and we cashed out just over $100 after taxes, which included the margarita and beer that Bailee recommended (it was amazing!).
This place is beautiful, it’s spacious and has a lot of seating. After speaking with Bailee, we learned that this is actually a historical building where it was the local bar/pub back in the day. You can see hints of the old day’s decor, however I see they tried to renovate it as much as they could.
This is the best mix of casual/fine dining in this spot. I would return for the food and the service. Bailee was very kind and gave us a lot of information about the things to do in the national parks. We actually added many things to our trip with her recommendation. Very down-to-earth, she was very sweet.

YES!!!!! The service is outstanding and the food was SO good. Started off with a Moscow mule, creme brulee (always eat dessert first), fried green tomatoes and ribs with garlic mashed and veggies.
Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. However, I highly recommend ordering the fried green tomato appetizer… this was hands down the best version I have ever had the privilege of devouring
