At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

This is absolutely the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted it in my entire life. It is so tender Smoky and just absolutely delicious in the jalapeño pimento cheese with the butter buns. Oh my gosh, I had to close my eyes every time I took a bite. Absolutely recommend two thumbs up way way up.

If you’re looking for true Southern BBQ perfection, Edley’s is it! The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork are absolutely fantastic — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tastes like it came straight from a pitmaster’s heart.
The sides are just as memorable — the cheese grits are creamy and rich, the baked beans are smoky and delicious, and the potato salad is the perfect cool, tangy complement to the meal. And just when you think it can’t get any better, the banana pudding arrives — smooth, sweet, and downright outstanding!
The staff is every bit as wonderful as the food — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish.
Five stars all around for amazing food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Edley’s BBQ in Chattanooga is a must-visit!

We were in Chattanooga for a family vacation from South Florida. We wanted real authentic BBQ, as we don’t have much of that down by us. Edley’s was the PERFECT choice! Food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing! They will definitely be a stop on our next visit.

It’s the best BBQ I’ve had. Hands down, I’ll return again. Sides too were also great! Beans, banana pudding, cheesy grits, mac N cheese… not one disappointed. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. Brisket was great. Atmosphere, cozy. Service was…adequate, slow maybe. But, the food was so good and the atmosphere was so nice, it had to get 5 stars from me. You walk in, and the place smells so good!

The area is a little crowded, so I assumed it’d be for a good reason. First impression? Food is fine, not impressed with portions at all. My friend and I spent around $80 for two plates and drinks. Our “premium” side of mac n’ cheese (that was an upcharge and around $4) came in what seemed to be sauce containers. The amount we were served was laughable compared to the price. The food, as I said, was fine, so that really sums up the entire experience— fine. Nothing special and nothing worthy of that amount of money. Mission BBQ would’ve been half that price. There are other better options!

All types of bbq proteins were excellent, side items each had their own flare, food was 10/10 for quality and flavor profile for fast bbq counter service! Definitively recommend.

Well I spent approximately $153.00 on two separate orders with a party of 6. It was cold inside the restaurant had fans going food would be cold before you start to eating it. Moved our party to a different table. The brisket was dry the sauce didn’t help it. The baked beans tasted tank. The coleslaw had no dressing not wet at all just cabbage. The ribs were tough I can recall them falling off the bone .fish fried to hard The wings were okay, however, the next day everyone was sick. Vomiting, diarrhea. Subjected possibly food poisoning. During the visit we tried not to complain to much everyone was hungry and ready to eat and it was Valentine’s Day. We were out as a family on a date that didn’t go great! , not due to bad service but most of the food items purchased was not good Coming from a customer that’s Serv safe. And the money I spent on dinner and for everyone to be sick and not able to attend work or Church the next day.

Edley’s catered our wedding at Waterhouse Pavilion and we couldn’t be happier with the food and service they provided! They arrived on time, set up quickly and efficiently, and had more the enough food to keep our 110 guests satisfied. The catering team was also very easy to communicate with throughout the process.

I ordered the burnt ends. They served lean brisket. When I went to exchange it the staff was patient and accommodated my request – next plate was moist. It was okay. Cheesy grits were excellent.
Wife said the turkey was juicy and really good though portion size wasn’t great. She enjoyed the Mac and cheese. She was disappointed the baked beans was a melody of beans including kidney.
Daughter thought the pork was dry – she was right. They only have 3 sauces available and she didn’t like any of them, or the Mac and cheese or the cornbread. The only thing she could eat was the banana pudding and green beans.
If I was a local, I would probably not visit here again. Nothing was standout.

Went here for dinner with my family before heading back home (out of town), and I must say it’s the best BBQ spot I’ve ever been to. The brisket is phenomenal, but you really can’t go wrong with anything you order. I was a bit nervous at first but Malik at the counter was so kind and helpful to not only me, but my whole family.. and that’s not something you find often. Oh, and the banana pudding is amazing !!
