It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had such a great experience at this Whataburger! Ever since the new management took over, you can truly feel the difference. The service was fast, my food came out hot and fresh, and everything was made exactly how I ordered it.
The restaurant was super clean, including the dining area and restrooms, which really stood out to me. The whole environment felt welcoming and well-organized.
The staff was extremely polite and respectful, and you can tell they actually care about customer service now. It honestly feels like a fresh start under the new management, and it shows in every detail.
Five stars across the board for speed, quality, cleanliness, and overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It’s 31st night, and while everyone else was out enjoying WAB team are working with smiles on their faces. I was picking up my friend from the airport. He was very hungry, so I stopped at this place and wow! What a welcoming, smiling team. I realized something important: if you want to enjoy, you can do it anywhere, in any situation and they proved it❤️God bless them all. Happy New Year! The burger team is amazing. The store is clean, and the food tastes as good as their smiles

When I pulled up, I was the only one in the drive-through. After paying for my order, I was told to pull forward. I sat pulled forward for 14 minutes as the four people behind me pulled up paid for their food and left. Then an employee came out and asked if I was ok. I said yes I’m waiting for my food. Then they had an oops look on their face. Then two minutes later they brought my food out, cold and smashed in a bag. So I waited a total of 16 minutes after being the only person that was originally in line. This is unacceptable on a Wednesday late afternoon. If it was a weekend night and I was waiting behind a bunch of cars, I would have no problem waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through. But if I’m the only person in the drive-through and you take care of four people behind me with huge bags of food that they didn’t pre-order that I saw them actually pay through the window then 16 minutes later bring out my food. All smashed and cold is unacceptable.

The manager recommended i try the honey bbq sandwich with honey butter sauce instead and add grilled jalapenos! 10/10 it is my new fave! The employees inside were nice and offered me a refill while i was eating. Will be back!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Tyler at Whataburger for his infectious smile and very positive attitude!
We all dine out, right? You don’t ever really expect high quality customer service – except MAYBE at Chick-fil-A – from fast food. So when it happens, it just makes your friggin day. Am I right? It’s such a nice surprise! Like when two bags of chips fall in the vending machine! Like when you go thru town and all the lights are green! Like when you get flowers and it’s not your birthday!
Our visit to Whataburger, after being on the road for 2 hours with another 2 hours to go, was a spur of the moment quick decision. And it was a little out of the way. But, SURPRISE!! it was worth it. The burgers were fantastic, the fries were killer, those awesome 75th Anniversary cups are amazing, and Tyler’s outstanding customer service was fire. He needs a raise. Right now!

I decided to stop by to give them another try and was not disappointed. Last time it was bad service but this time things were different. They were so nice and friendly and made us feel welcomed. Hopefully they stay like this. Everyone was smiling and laughing and working. It was a really good environment.

Enjoyed the environment at this establishment although it’s fast food I enjoyed my meal here! Friendly service, attentive, everything freshly made without me saying to make sure the fries are fresh that’s usually an issue at other places. And the wait time wasn’t much 🙂

The fact that I have been sitting in this drive-through for 20 minutes is absolutely absurd, there needs to be some type of management or someone above the age of 18 running this place there’s a bunch of teenagers scratching their heads with no gloves on laughing and joking on their phones, all I want is to be able to order my food in a timely manner and go home,
