wait time to get you food depends on the time of visiting.Between 10:00am-4:00pm and 8:00pm-11:00pm it usually takes 5 minutes to receive your food
Between 4:00pm-8:00pm it usually takes 15-20 minutes to receive your food.Normally avoid this time visiting this location.Speed in service could improve around 4:00pm-8:00pm in getting your food.
otherwise everything is great about this Culver’s location.
Burgers – good
Chicken tenders – GREAT
Cheese curds – below average (how???!!!! A Wisconsin based franchise should do better than this lol)
Placed an order at 5:58 inside, didn’t receive it until 6:15 for a singular ticket order of a chicken tenders kids meal. I wasn’t the only one standing around especially after 10 minutes and there certainly was no sort of “sorry for the wait” or complimentary coupon as an apology. Staffing was certainly not an issue so I’m assuming Management here must be a joke since I’ve never been treated like this at any other location in Madison. The Middleton location is certainly worth the 10 minute additional drive as they’ve always gone the extra mile if they even slightly exceed anything past 5 minutes vs waiting an additional 10 minutes for no good reason at this location
I’ve always received quality meals from this location and the staff are very friendly.
Plenty of free parking in the parking lot.
The burger patties are thin which gives the patties a nice texture when cooked. The burger had good flavour and wasn’t too salty. The lettuce and tomato seemed fresh. The burger was a decent size.
The fries are nicely salted. They weren’t crispy but that could be because they spent time in a closed bag.
The cheese curds are cheddar and were nicely fried. For fast food, they were what I expected.
The malt was really good. I enjoyed it more than I had expected to.
I would easily place this above most fast food places in terms of taste and quality. They are closer to a Smashburger than a more traditional burger.
This Culver’s is poorly managed because they had adequate staffing available. I’ve never experienced the lack of coordination at any Culver’s before as Culver’s generally sets the standard for fast food.
