Been hearing great things about Estera and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is so cozy, service was great (Sara was awesome!), and the food was dynamite! The Suppli alla Vodka (think aracini) was the perfect starter, especially when having a few cocktails. The basil pesto pasta was very flavorful and not overly herby as some pestos can be. My husband had the wahoo and he said it was the best fish he’s had on the island. Highly highly recommend getting the key lime pie for dessert – best on STX!! We loved dinner so much, we’re going back again this week

This is one of the best fine dining restaurants on St. Croix. It’s right in the heart of downtown Christiansted, between Strand Street and the boardwalk. Our table ordered multiple appetizers and entrees. I had the casarecce alla pesto with shrimp. Others enjoyed short rib, steak and the mac-and-cheese special and we sampled all three appetizer specials. Every bite was delicious. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy with warm lighting, beautiful black and while photos on the walls, and comfortable seating. Great place for dinner or happy hour (They have great specials.) Most of all, the warm welcome was followed by exceptional service at both bar and table. Kudos to Callie, Nathan, Ashley and Chef Dylan. Make a reservation and don’t miss Estera!

Wow this was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. So nice to have a foodie-meal in a Caribbean destination. The special baked Brie with jam & nuts was insane, I ate every bite. The jagerschnitzel was also delicious, the mushroom gravy on top was killer. The cocktail menu was so good I wish I could order every drink lol. I had the mezcal drink which was delicious. Everyone at the bar was ordering multiple nespresso martinits so they mist have been good also. The hostess, and bartender was so sweet, great service. Bravo chef for the amazing food.

Wow… where do I even begin?

I came to St. Croix for a little island getaway with my 21-year-old, and we decided to try Estera Fine Dining not knowing what to expect — and WOW. We were absolutely blown away. From the food to the quality of the dishes to the customer service, everything was TOP TIER.

I was so impressed that I literally wrote names down. That’s how good it was.

Bartenders Nathan and James were exceptional. I had the Old Rose — an old fashioned made with a house-made rosemary simple syrup and smoky, amazing bourbon — and it was hands down one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Truly out of this world.

The food? Extraordinary. The shrimp toast was incredible, the wedge salad was fresh and vibrant, and the bacon mac & cheese made with premium smoked cheeses was next level. Chef Dylan is extremely talented and absolutely worth every bit of the hype.

Our server Amanda was FANTASTIC — warm, knowledgeable, full of great recommendations, and smiling the entire time. She truly set the vibe and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

With all of this said, Estera has officially become our new island favorite. Every year when we return to St. Croix, this will be our go-to spot. This place will not disappoint.

Made me feel like they were doing us a favor by taking our 5pm reservation when they open. Asked us to leave 7pm for other reservations. No problem. I’ve been in the restaurant biz and the two of us just wanted a good meal. By 6pm, when we left, there were two other parties seated. Good AC which is very rare in the Caribbean. The atmosphere is quietly subdued. Service is impeccable. Caesar salad is outstanding. Our dishes, chicken Parmesan and coconut curry were good but somewhat bland. Good value for your $$’s..

I’ve been to Estera a handful of times now. The first few times for brunch and more recently, for dinner.
This last Saturday My husband went for dinner, a day late Valentine’s dinner.

I’m not really a fancy eater, but there was a few things on the menu for me. I was happy to see bruschetta! I’ll tell you it was delicious.

They have several appetizer choices, and the menu changes frequently. So there’s always something fresh and new to try.

Well, I’m not a fancy eater, I’m kind of a picky eater. The server, Eugene, and his shadow trainee, Vernese, took my needs in stride.

I’ve lived on this island for three years and last Saturday was one of the best services I’ve had in A restaurant! Eugene was top notch and is the bar to hit for service!

They’ve always been great with service but Eugene was above and beyond. He was friendly, funny, and understanding. Made everything we wanted happen. And more!

I had the jagerschnitzel and my husband had the grad 8 wagu steak. The steak was amazing!! Worth the experience, and the schnitzel was breaded so nicely!

We were in early, with a reservation at 5:30p (definitely recommend reservations for all meals, all year round, it’s a popular place).

The only complaint I have is that it gets extremely loud. I would recommend they implement some sort of sound dampening. It gets painfully loud. Unfortunately not uncommon on this restaurant but there are cheap and easy ways to help this.

However, I Can’t wait to go again. I definitely will be in again to visit with Eugene.

I also overheard the hostess/manager making accommodations and recommending meals and how they could make the meals for a vegan customer.

Delicious. The flavors are full throttle and balanced. I went with the special and every item was well prepared. Amanda was happy and helpful. The mango gelato was absurdly delicious. The food was a pricey, but quality. I did not need a takeaway box, but I did not leave hungry. I plan on going back. Treat yoself.

One word describes everything, excellent.
The hostess and server were both amazing. Our server was Julie. She was attentive without being smothering.
The food was great and the serving sizes were fair. But who wouldn’t want a bigger dessert.
In the end, the bill was very fair and we had a great evening.

Wedge salad was delicious! The Pucker Up cocktail was also wonderful! The curry needed a little more salt and pepper for my liking but I would absolutely return to Estera!

Love, love, love me some Estera! They are always consistent with food, love, and most of all customer service. That pork belly, is fire! The mahi bites was amazing as well as the soft shell crab! Thank you Cali for accommodating my last minute change!
