Hank’s made our Massanutten trip so much better!! Our server Brandy waa great and even remembered us when we came back the next day. He gave great suggestions when asked and the food did not dissappoint…. shrimp and grits were the best we’ve tasted! Catfish melts in your mouth. And we had other amazing things like brisket and ribs. And you cant forget the cornbread, it’s a must. We cant wait to return whenever we’re in the area. Its only a 4hr drive, no sweat!

We were staying at Massanutten resort and the resturants were not to our liking. Hank’s is only 10 minutes away! We loved it so much we went twice! The service was amazing at the bar and inside the restaurant! The food came out quick and everything was amazing! We had the shrimp n grits, burger, Brunswick stew, whiskey bbq wings, burnt ends and the pulled pork burrito. Also loved the blackberry bourbon spritz and the long island ice tea! Took dessert back to condo! We had the bread pudding, chocolate pecan pie and apple pie! All were amazing!!

Food was OUTSTANDING! Our server (I think her name was Hannah) was great and very attentive. I would highly recommend the queso, ny strip, burger and cheesecake. Pretty pricey but it was so good.

Brisket was great, especially for not being in Texas, Pulled Pork was slightly dryer than I’ve had, but I do eat it without BBQ sauce. Service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was good. I’ll likely continue going there for lunch when I’m in town.

This was my first time visiting. The staff was friendly. The food was okay. The ribs were a little dry, and the brisket had too much fat and not a lot of meat. Pulled pork, chicken wings, and cornbread were good. Mac and cheese needed to be hotter. This place was highly recommended, but had better BBQ.

Date night here was nice, better than we expected from word of mouths. We had a special and a burger. Most of everything was great, cocktails, entrees, app, our sides were okay. The sweet pot fries were great. We were disappointed by the Mac n chs and the slaw but all in all we will be coming back to try more stuff!

Came here for our anniversary dinner since we were in town for the weekend. It did not disappoint . Jillian was fantastic and super attentive to our requests. The salmon was delicious, the prime rib was perfectly cooked, and the crackles were literally cracking . I even dropped the 30 bucks for a Hanks t shirt because it’s adorable. All of that to say if you’re in town stop here!

This place absolutely slaps. It is DELICIOUS!!!!!! Mouth watering, absolutely craveable, so packed with flavor! We saw this restaurant featured on “Get Out of Town” and tried it and hadn’t stopped thinking about our last visit so we made the trip back and was not disappointed! Highly recommend the shrimp & grits with saffron sauce! The calico beans are some of the best, most intensely flavorful beans I have ever tasted! I drank the sauce, couldn’t leave a drop! Absolutely everything we tried was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, well sauced, well spiced and packed with flavor, plus it came out fast & hot! Hannah was our server and she was phenomenal. She was kind, attentive, patient & we can’t thank her enough! Really-if you haven’t been here, you have to go!

Was the worst restaurant I have EVER been to. Charged a lot, poor tasting food, piles of meat on the sandwich (costed a lot because of the chunks of meat they dropped on the food), nasty mac and cheese with no flavor, THE BATHROOM IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE KITHEN. Everything was nasty, no flavor food, don’t go here, and if you do get a quesadilla and a drink than leave nothing else is good.
