Edit: Wow. The ending experience here left my jaw dropped it was so unprofessional. I left my jacket in a booth while over in the arcade. The worker who closed the arcade sooner had heard me grieving to my friends about her closing the arcade, which I do not care if she heard or not, she should have done her job I would have said that to anyone there. The unprofessionalism continued when she grabbed my jacket and moved it somewhere. I’m sure before they knew it was mine they put it in lost and found, but when I asked the bartender for it she said she hadn’t seen it and gave me a sorry shake of her head. I began searching for it but given I knew right where I had left it, and had nothing to drink all night, I knew it had been moved. I was walking back near the bar when I heard the bartender, which hadn’t seen me walk back up yet, lean forward say “I know where her jacket is” to the two older gentlemen she had been serving. Me and one of the men made direct eye contact and I continued walking around looking for my jacket. The one girl I’d been having issues with moved something, I’m assuming my jacket, from what looked like a side room and place it on a barrel. Then the bartender said “there’s a jacket on that barrel over there” and pointed to the corner of the store near the slot machines and golf game which I had not been near all night. We never walked over there once. No one from my group moved my jacket or even touched it. We never went near the slot machines or the bathrooms. They moved my jacket and I’m assuming were either going to throw it away or just keep it in lost and found from me. This was wildly unprofessional and unacceptable. And to boot, why would the bartender suddenly know where once jacket is all the way across the store way out of her area if the other lady had not pointed and told her she just put it back there. This was just absolutely ridiculous and I definitely need to speak to management about this.
I think they think that they can get away with whatever because customers are drunk. I was not. They paid no attention to the two girls acting behind inappropriately for a public setting (let’s just say clothing was being removed or moved away..) but had an issue with me the entire night. They clearly weren’t interested in more than getting off work as soon as possible and while I get that everyone’s human and no one wants to work, that really affects a business and you should work at a different job if you hate it this much. The entire issue started from employees having both poor attitudes and poor work ethics due to seemingly not wanting to work there. If management is wondering why every table is empty most nights, the night crew is seemingly the main reason why because the food is actually pretty good for an arcade bar style and it’s really fun when they’re working well and being nice/doing what they’re supposed to. The first night was wildly better than the second and the girl who shut down the arcade was NOT working the first night
To start with, there was no one up front when we walked in. We stood around for about 15 mins. And the just took it amongst ourselves to sit down. Our server Logan was absolutely HORRIBLE. A very smug attitude and paid no attention to us. We were there for an hour before we ordered and that’s after I stopped him twice and my wife stopped him twice. The food was cold. There was no sauce on the pizza. I had to get him three times, to get my bill and he still never brought it. I had to go up to the bar to pay and he was just sitting up there doing nothing. The place wasn’t that busy and they seemed to have plenty of staff. The girl at the bar, unfortunately I didn’t get her name, was extremely helpful when I told her of the issue, and seemed sincere when she apologized. And told me she would address it with the manager immediately. We’ll see what comes of that.
Update:
Management contacted me after reading my review. They comped me an entre and appetizer so we gave it another shot. The food and service was much better this time around. I really believe at this point that it was the particular server the first time. Our server this time was great. Food was hot and good. I highly recommend the pizza, you get a lot for the price, and the burnt ends. I’ve had burnt end at bar b q restaurants that weren’t as good as these. Just a heads up, if you go on a weekend night, it’s quite a bit louder. It’s wasn’t easy to hear my wife from just across the table. Overall great experience the second time.
At 1:30 in the afternoon it was busy, loud and evident at least eight other groups were celebrating birthdays or events which certainly added to a festive atmosphere. Crowded and justifiably noisy…we could still hear each other without having to shout.
On the disappointing end… with a menu of significant choices… we were all excited and wanted to order shareable items and individual meals.
Cutting to the chase…they were drastically understaffed. The servers did their best… but they were challenged in getting drink orders and eventually the appetizers and entrees taken.
They were sincere and did their best.
A Gyro wrap was extremely salty andcold and fries over seasoned. The two large pizzas looked great…however were bland and took a 2nd place to Little Caesars. A two meat entree with pulled pork and chicken were over salted. Not the server’s fault…but 3/4 of that meal was left behind as was the Gyro wrap.
Great venue for celebrating…but their food prep, flavors and overtaxed servers were regretful.
