Had a really great experience dining here! The corn app was very tasty, and I really enjoyed the pork ribs! So tender and flavorful! The curry crispy duck was also a must-have. Even the coconut icecream was heavenly!!

We booked a table for four here on a recent week day night. We heard good things about it from our friends. We booked at 7 and it was only half full when we arrived.
We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon blanc to share. Price was fair.
To start, we ordered the massaman curry dish and it was very good. Not too hot.
Then we ordered Bamii duck which was excellent. All sliced and ready to eat. Finally we had the ginger branzino filleted. Tasty but a tad overcooked for my taste.
Service was excellent. By the time we left, the restaurant was packed with mostly young professional looking people and too noisy for us to talk at our table.
Overall, this was a very nice dining experience.

Charoen Krung Thai is such a hidden gem in Midtown East. The food was full of authentic Thai flavors, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious from start to finish. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and perfect for a casual date night or dinner with friends. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite Thai spots in NYC—can’t wait to come back!

Didn’t expect to find my best crispy pork belly of the year at a Thai spot!!! The skin was insanely crisp yet slightly chewy. The dipping sauce on the side was perfectly balanced.

For the main, we went with the panang short ribs. The beef was coated in a rich, mildly spicy curry. We added steamed veggies instead of rice and they fit curry.

This restaurant named after a Bangkok road exudes a strong Thai vibe.

Highly recommend the ⭐️Beef Shank Hot Pot from the winter limited menu—sour and spicy, with tender braised beef. Having a bowl in such cold weather instantly warms you up from head to toe.
⭐️Crispy Pork Belly is also a must-order. The pork neck skin is roasted to a crisp, while the meat remains exceptionally tender and juicy.
Their cocktails feature unique designs and flavors that are distinctly Southeast Asian.

Charoen Krung Thai has quickly become one of my favorite Thai spots in Manhattan. Named after the historic road in Bangkok, this restaurant perfectly bridges the gap between traditional street flavors and sophisticated dining.

We ordered a variety of dishes and were impressed by the depth of flavor in each one. The Panang Short Ribs are an absolute must-order—the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the curry sauce was rich, creamy, and carried just the right hint of kaffir lime. The Crispy Pork Belly was another standout, with a skin so perfectly crunchy it was like a savory candy.
