Voluptuous Vegan
Hands down one of the best vegan food experiences I’ve had in Phoenix. The Coronado absolutely delivers on flavor, texture, and vibe. Walking in honestly felt like stepping into Vampire Lestat’s lair — dark, moody, romantic energy… very Anne Rice novel in the best way possible. Super unique atmosphere, tarot card menus (obsessed), and there’s also a really cool vibey coffee shop next door owned by the same folks.
What I love most? This place is 100% plant-forward but they don’t scream “vegan restaurant” anywhere — it just shows up as a restaurant. And you can tell because plenty of non-vegans were there simply because the food is that good. Nothing was oversalted or over-seasoned, sauces tasted house-made, and everything felt intentional. The Cali burrito was fantastic, the fried guacamole was surprisingly light and delicious (not greasy at all), and the potato tacos were honestly divine.
Only small gripe: I wanted to mix taco flavors and was told no — tacos only come in pairs of the same kind. Didn’t love that, especially since I was happy to pay any upcharge just to try a few varieties. That aside, service was friendly, we were seated quickly for early dinner, and overall it was a great experience. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it to vegans and non-vegans alike. Total vibe.

I love Coronado! And I think the entire Coronado community does too. There are not enough good words to say about this place because it is the right mix of vibe and atmosphere that you’re looking for in a smaller community hub like this.
Good food that is reasonably priced. I believe all the food is vegan as well which makes it even better! Quality food that’s good for yourself in the environment for a good price is hard to come by.
The staff is nice and very attentive nothing but good things to say.
I got the burrito and my husband got the enchiladas and my aunt got the cauliflower tacos. They were all excellent. We’ve been coming to this place for years and not once I’ve ever had anything bad on the menu and as a regular lifter, I can throw back some food and I’m not usually hungry when we leave.

Sooo delicious! Cauliflower tacos and california burrito. Fresh horchata and lemonade. Soft and chewy chocolate chip rosemary cookie. We sat on the patio with great weather. Great service. Will definitely be back.

First time eating here but I’ll definitely try it again! I got the loaded hibiscus chips as part of hibiscus week. What a uniquely amazing creation! I definitely give my props to the team who thought of this. The bbq hibiscus flowers were a smidge sweet for my taste but I just asked for a side of salsa which helped balance things out. The table next to me got a burger that smelled amazing so I’ll definitely get that next time.
I also got the lemon raspberry cake which I wasn’t the biggest fan of. The buttercream was gritty and the cake didn’t have a strong lemon flavor. But the raspberry sauce that was drizzled on top was really good! I could see it being amazing on a chocolate dessert.
The service was great and I felt well taken care of. The lighting inside is very intimate, seems like a great place for a date night. Can’t wait to come again!

I was in Phoenix for a conference last week, and the organizers provided zero vegan options. I found the Coronado and arrived grumpy and famished! I walked in and there was a collection box for our unhoused neighbors, tarot cards on the tables, and these delightful lil books of “secrets” with love notes from strangers… I knew I found my people! I ate the cauliflower tacos, salad, and a cranberry rosemary mocktail! I went back the next day and got the breakfast burrito, and visited the coffee shop for a latte and cookie! It was a salve in every way, fed my soul and my belly, thank you!

My favorite vegan spot. The food is delicious, service is great and the atmosphere is cool. Definitely make a reservation on the weekend for brunch as it can get super busy. I’ve loved everything I’ve ever gotten on the menu. The cauliflower tacos and the flautas are my favorite items. Dark Hall Nextdoor also had amazing pastries and drinks!

My fiancée and I are vegans from SoCal and we were completely satisfied with our experience at The Coronado. Their plant-based menu is very impressive. The service, food, and drinks were so good we came to eat here two days straight.
We are whiskey fans and the Oak Street absolutely hit the spot. We continued with the Asada fries as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Southwest Salad, Flautas, and the Cauliflower tacos. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Aiden and Jane are awesome servers, they are the best!

My bestie only eats veggies. So I decided to surprise her with a nice dinner for her last day in Arizona. I’m a meat lover. I took her to the Coronado because they serve all veggie dishes. To my surprise I really enjoyed it. Went back the next day for the fries. Best fries ever homemade like I had as a kid. The bean burger was flavored well and I didn’t even miss that I was not eating meat. Nice atmosphere and outdoor seating would highly recommend
