I took my fiance here for a Valentines Day lunch after reading so many positive reviews about this restaurant. We walked in and it was a awesome atmosphere. The smiles on customers and employees faces was really nice to see. Jenny was our server and she has a wonderfully, professional and kind personality. She offered information on almost everything they have. When we received our food it was a lot more than we were both expecting. I had the catfish, fries and coleslaw and my fiance had the seafood platter. It tasted fantastic. Thank you Fish City Grill and Jenny for making our day great.

Outstanding seafood with exceptional service
As someone who visits Lakeland annually, I’m thrilled to have found Fish City Grill. My expectations for non-fried fish options are usually modest, but this place exceeded them completely.
First impressions were excellent. They post daily specials on their website each morning, and when we arrived just before noon on Sunday, staff immediately accommodated our wheelchair user with genuine warmth.
Our server David was kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We tried three daily specials and every dish was outstanding. Some of the best fish entrees I’ve had, with appropriate adult portions (not the overwhelming servings typical of American restaurants) and fair pricing.
What really impressed me was the consistent kindness across all staff. How did they assemble such a great team? It’s rare to find this level of service quality.
The atmosphere is pleasant but unremarkable. Fine for dining but not particularly memorable. The TVs at the bar seem unnecessary, though that’s more a general restaurant trend than specific to this establishment.
Food and service alone make this a must-visit on my future Lakeland trips. Highly recommend!

The shrimp nachos were good, but my favorite was the shrimp & crab queso. For the main entree, I tried the cobb salad with goddess dressing and with blackened salmon added. It was flavorful, but I wish I had more lettuce. The salad was a little smaller than I expected. It was served on a plate and not in a bowl like usual.

The staff is so attentive and welcoming. It’s one of my favorite spots to come to when in town! David and lance are so great at what they do. Food is always fresh and tasty, I definitely recommend the blueberry cheesecake! 10/10

This place was amazing I went with my family for dinner and we loved it we had the oyster nachos as a appetizer and the pico went great with the chipotle sauce on the chips I personally got the shrimp and lobster grilled cheese with a side of potatoes and 10/10 the flavor was perfect together we didn’t even need a box at the end since nothing was left on our plates
