Wow! Amazing! Great value behind this gem of a restaurant that recently reopened in the old Dio Duende restaurant space on Winooski Ave. Highlights include the congee (like an awesome chicken and brown rice soup with thinly sliced kale, pickled ginger, jammy egg), shaved carrot salad, potato salad with sweet corn, grilled skewers just kissed with the perfect amount of charcoal smoke, and oh, the salmon collars! Salmon collar might not be something that you have had before, but oh wow, you have to try these! Definitely going back soon. So great to see a place really trying out some new flavor combinations at a very reasonable price.

Check out the uber cute redo of Duino Duende at 10 N Winooski (just north of Pearl Street) in Burlington. Super clean and delicious food, made fresh to order. All take out but there is some seating outside. We ordered tapas stye with friends and headed to the Lakefront for picnic dinner. Best carrot soup I’ve ever had! Okonomiyaki (green onion pancake) which we added shrimp to, was to die for. Shared spiced cucumber salad, skewers and an unusual and tasty kale salad with crunchy quinoa and shaved fennel. Can’t wait to go back to sample the rest of the menu. Great addition to Burlington food scene.
