Short wait, we love their online waitlist queue for large family outings. The staff is courteous and quick, kitchen and front of house is a well oiled machine! Entire menu ia delicious and generous portion can be shared, or be ready to take home.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick review. My boyfriend and I had breakfast here for the first time and the experience was fantastic. Great service all around, and the food was amazing! We tried the German pancake on the owner’s recommendation, and the pancake was delicious. Our server was super attentive, checking in on us regularly. We’ve already recommended this place to our family and friends. Such a great experience.

I visited this OPH location this past weekend and ordered their Apple Pancake and it was a real treat. The warm apples, cinnamon and fluffy pancake texture made it taste delicious so I’d give the food a strong rating. Service was friendly and polite, though it wasn’t super fast, the dining area felt casual and homey, but a little dated, so the atmosphere is ok but not great, but what makes me keep coming back is just the overall taste of the food and that it does seem like an old fashioned pancake house although its a national chain. I’d go back for another breakfast or brunch meal.

I recently visited this pancake house with a friend, drawn by its reputation as the oldest establishment of its kind in the area. True to its legacy, the atmosphere carried a sense of history and warmth.

We ordered pancakes made with sourdough—a unique twist that set them apart from the usual fare. Thicker in size, with a pleasantly chewy texture, they delivered a rich, satisfying bite that made the experience memorable. Even the side dishes complemented the meal perfectly, reminding us that this place knows its craft well.

This isn’t just a breakfast spot—it’s a taste of local tradition served on a plate.

The wooden chairs were sturdy and comfortable, but the booth-style seating had well-worn cushions that reflected the restaurant’s long history—charming, but a bit less comfortable.

We ordered 49’er flapjacks and corned beef hash. Both of them were very good. However, the coffee was so weak that I don’t recommend at all. If you order cinnamon waffles, make sure they put the syrup on the side. the waffle became soggy when they put it on top.

Its a long drive but totally worth is everything is good here. Once you reserve online make sure to check in inside before they text you that your table is ready. I enjoy the waffles, eggs and sausage and usually share the hash browns. The bacon is very good too. 10/10 would recommend. Crepes are realllly good too!!!

The food was good though not excellent. The noise level is high but it was supposed to be a fun, friendly place anyway.
Our server (should have asked for her name) was excellent. She told my friend to wait inside at the table for the 10 minutes until I arrived instead of letting her stand outside. She was friendly, patience and very efficient (gave her 25% gratuity).
We go there often.

Great pancake spot with tons of variety of pancakes! We love the German pancake cornmeal pancakes and sourdough pancakes cuz you can’t get them elsewhere. This place is a bit pricey so don’t come here if you’re looking for a cheap meal but rather a tasty meal.
