The visit started poorly because nobody greeted me at the door, and I had to wave down an employee just to get seated. While my steak was not cooked to the right temperature, the meal overall was a good.
The Steakhouse Mac and Cheese was a total surprise. Compared to what I have had at other restaurants, it was amazing for a place of this caliber.
My server, Carmen, was the star of the night. She was incredibly professional and made sure I was well taken care of toward the end of the evening. Her service truly saved the experience.

When I pulled up on a Tuesday afternoon, there were only a few empty parking lots, and there’s a reason why this place is packed on a Tuesday. My meal was delicious; everything was cooked perfectly, especially my fillet steak, which was a perfect medium-well.

Longhorn Steakhouse near Eastland Mall, in Evansville, is one of the best Longhorn Steakhouses I have been to! I was seated pretty much right away, my waitress Stephanie, was very attentive, very polite and pleasant and cares about the customer! My food was fresh and hot and my steak was cooked perfectly! What I liked also, is that the atmosphere was family friendly and everyone seemed to be happy and joyful! ❤️ My overall experience at this Longhorn was nothing short of wonderful and when I come back to Evansville, I will strongly consider returning! Maybe it was because we had a large group or they were having a bad day in the kitchen but it took a while for our food to come out. I know food has to be cooked to order but groups of people less than ours would be seated before our appetizers came out and then have their meal before our main meals came out. A group of 4 and a group of 5 were done and had left after eating while we still waited for our food. The food was good. . . okay, the steaks were great but the baked potatoes had gone cold so when I added butter to mine, the butter just sat on top and did bot melt. Which did not really matter as I had ordered a sweet potato but I’m pretty sure the butter would not have melted on that one either .. service was good, my sweet tea never got below half and most times was at a quarter gone when our waitress would ask to top it off. Loved the way she paid attention to us as well as her other tables. We made sure to tip her very well. I let the mix-up slide as the baked potato was still eaten, tasted good, and, let us face it, who has not messed up on their food at one time?

No waiting for our table whem we arrived at 730pm on a Saturday.
Our Hostess was great some small talk and to the table we went.
We were about there for 10 min and our server stopped by..chatted a few minutes took our drink order.
About 5 minutes came back with our drinks and we ordered 2 appitizers.
10 minutes went by our server came back and took our food order, refilled drinks and let us know our apps would be out in 10.
Appitizers to our table and great shareable size portions…(mushrooms and cheese fries) ZERO complaints .
Our main course came out about 15 min later…we saw a few friends and chatted a bit and returned to our table.
A server brought our food out just set it on our table and ran..shocked but no big deal we figured it out.
Our server came back to checl on us and see if we needed anything…
We were good…
So good our server came back about 30 min with the check and letting us know no hurry..(forgot to fill our drinks)
Came back twice to see if we were ready to pay (and still no refills)…with food still on our plate!
It seemed towards the end of the night we were being push3d to cash out an leave.. they weren’t busy as they were earlier in the evening…maybe our server was ready to go..
Overall a good night, good food and spending time with family and friends was thr plus.
The server could have done a little better towards the end but we all have our off days.

No one at our table got a correct cook on their steak, my first steak was obviously microwaved…I assume they forgot and just microwaved it to get it out with the rest of the order. My server tried to tell me that my steak was just “chistley….?”. I returned the steak, and then received a pan seared steak that was under (rare/blue). At that point I wasn’t hungry anymore and figured I could just cook it my self later at home…
Service took forever, we were there for 2 hours for a simple dinner.
Even when we were paying the check, the server was still trying to defend the “chistley….?” steak…..
This may not be the worst steak house in Evansville, but they better hope the worst one doesn’t close!

If I could, I wouldn’t give any stars on the food. Our waitress was nice but really didn’t listen to what was ordered, our steaks came before the appetizer, I was supposed to get ranch with the appetizer I had to ask 3 times then was given ranch that tasted like someone poured a shaker of salt in it, my salad didn’t arrive at all until yet again I asked 3 times for it, and it was finally brought out. The steak was cooked to perfection, too bad it tasted like a straight up salt lick to the point it burned my mouth on the 1st bite and had to ask for both our steaks to be remade, the manager was a very nice guy, but then again, still didn’t listen, we finally got our food and paid $100 for food we took home and can’t enjoy. Never again.

Awesome Experience as usual at LongHorn! Was celebrating a Birthday, so we go to Special Places on Special Days! Love the bread and the Shrimp Appetizer was Truly Amazing!!
I went for Surf and Turf, and the wife just went Full Turf! She took most of it home so I ate it later, so I pretty much had a Double Turf with my Surf!
Service was Excellent, all the food was hot and fresh, except the salads, which were cold and fresh! Awesome Honey Mustard on the salads
The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and not overly busy as we got there after the lunch rush.
We had families on both sides of us with kids that were misbehaving, so a bit noisy with peeking eyes looking at us. Too bad parents don’t make their kids behave, especially in nicer places.
PS. Will get the pics uploaded in a bit, they will make you really hungry!
Other than the brats on both sides of us, it was the normal good experience, and we always look forward to going back!
