It was a great experience to dine at Valters at the Maennerchor restaurant. The food were delicious, the service was excellent, and the environment was lovely. Traditional German decor with dark wood accents and European craftsmanship adds the perfect touch to the atmosphere.

Brought some friends over, and we all enjoyed it very much. Worth every penny!

Valters was a hidden gem. MUCH better than another famous German restaurant in the area.

Food was fantastic, staff was friendly, parking was horrible I got the Maennerchor Schweinshaxe pork shank. It fell off the bone. It was absolutely massive.

Visiting from out of town. The sauerkraut balls and mustard were absolutely amazing! The pierogi with the pork belly was great. The best thing however was the service, which was incredible. Definitely recommend this place for iconic German town experience!

Found this place for a brunch recommendation and gave it a shot. Came alone for the first time to try it out. I am glad I came. I had the steak and eggs for brunch, with a side of home fries and a warm baguette. The food tasted so delicious, prepared exactly how I asked for it. Everything had a great taste and well worth the price. Valter does great and took the time to check on me and that was nice. I will definitely be back and bring more people. The drinks were perfect. The service was one of the best I’ve had in awhile. Jamie was super attentive and sweet. Food came out hot and fast. I also loved the atmosphere. Music in the background but low enough to carey a good conversation if you brought friends. I’d say 7 out of 5 stars for me.

The service was excellent!
The food was great. We had pork schnitzel for dinner, the pretzel and pierogi appetizers are phenomenal.
For dessert we had pistachio cheesecake and strawberry tiramisu, which are both made in house. Both were amazing, I would try any dessert they make.

I was an Air Force brat that grew up in Germany, and Valters brings me right back. We’ve come for breakfast so many times, but recently got to have dinner there with family from our of town. Brandon was fantastic welcoming them, explaining any questions they had and giving tmus all a fantastic family memory. The kitchen even made the best sausage board with baguettes, which was delicious! And getting to hear the choirs was a treat! Valters is always awesome, and we can’t wait to come again.

I am pretty strict on the keto diet; Valters is my top choice when I have a cheat day. Incredibly delicious food – made with love. The ambiance and staff make this place feel like home.

We visited Valters at the Maennerchor in Columbus, Ohio, for a delicious German brunch. The restaurant was popular, but we lucked out with a cozy spot. The atmosphere was warm and charming, with great decor and friendly staff. The food and coffee were top-notch. Definitely worth a visit – reservations recommended!

This is a harder one for me to write. Our server was excellent and attentive and the atmosphere really took me back to Germany (stationed there for several years). The pierogi was delicious as were the fries but my family and I agreed that those two things along were not worth the trip back because of the price. For $18, the pierogi appetizer is one of the more expensive appetizers we’ve had in the city. We cannot justify $4.50/pierogi even if they were good! The French onion soup was just fine, the potato salad was not the best version I’ve tried and the sauerkraut balls were just good. We loved trying somewhere new and again service and atmosphere were great but we won’t be doing a repeat trip.

Really enjoyed my first time there. Service was great and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the smell from the prime rib being prepared made me hungry to come back. Atmosphere was what you might expect from a historical house, welcoming and lively. Looking forward to coming back again.
