Well used to go to humdinger all the time but just went there for my last time the portions have gone down along with the qauilty of food the fish was burnt the scallops were also and had missing scallops just breading and like a kids size fry and the haliwich was made with the same fish as the fish basket

It’s always pleasant when you encounter a business that is as great as this one. No pretentiousness will be found here. What you will find is great food and great people that work there. We have been several times now and every single time are met with friendly smiles eager to help. The food is freshly prepared while you wait, I’ve not gotten any heat lamp food at all. Hamburgers are good, chicken is good, gizzards are great, fish is great… Everything we have tried has been good food and service with a smile. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

The lady that took my order was great, the food was amazing, the service was quick, and the price was definitely right. I picked up the 1/3# humdinger basket, fries and a large drink, like $16 and change or so.
EDIT: I have a full beard and only needed one of the two napkins they generously provided, I’m not sure what other customers are doing with their food. Are you intentionally trying to wear your food? What is the problem here?

The food is delicious classic greasy burger diner. The chicken nuggets are gold!! Too many flavor options for the best shakes!! To boot the prices are very reasonable for today. This has been a staple in our lives since we were very young and now we share it with our children. Park along the water front, you’ll see seal, otter, heron, geese, and so much more!

What’s not to love about the classic roadside burger joint? Burger was on-point, the grilled cheese was great, and the shakes (cinnamon and chocolate) were amazing.
And don’t ignore the view in the back. The picnic tables overlooking the Hoquiam River would be amazing on a sunny day.

The food was GREAT especially the onion rings! It was fresh tasty and made the night soooo much better. I personally thought the building was beautiful in its own and had so much personality. If you’d like to try a new place with good quick food and a place with sooo much love and personality I would recommend Al’s Hum-Dinger

I’ve always loved humdinger but don’t venture that way often anymore. Well tonight I stopped for ice cream (they have the best soft serve) with my toddler and they gifted us our cones & wished us a Merry Christmas. Such a kind gesture of generosity! Humdinger reminds me of my mom because she loved to stop for an ice cream while going through chemo. Almost been 5 years without her, so their gift of ice cream was unknowingly extra special! Thank you girls!

Just had the worst burger and onion rings on the planet. Incompetence supreme.
5 small onion rings in basket. My burger was 2 thin patties barely cooked, put on one side of the bun. Wet soggy lettuce, mealy tomato all on the same side. Both sides of the bun were wet and soggy and fell apart, leaving me with lettuce and sauce falling out and me holding it together with my fingers on the patties. It was disgusting. I’ve encountered all of those problems one at a time there, so kept going in hopes that it was a one off. Obviously the owner is absent, and the employees do not care in the least. The few onions rings that were served were good. From now on I’ll hit the Lighthouse or the Grizzly. The Grizzly Den is the BEST burger on earth, and to avoid the long wait times,Ill order ahead by phone.
