Longhorn is specifically a Steakhouse supposed to be well known for its steaks.
I typically don’t eat steak but I really wanted a good steak. I don’t live in this area and had an AMAZING steak at Applebee’s in Ozark. I expected BETTER if that can even be a thing from Longhorns.
I ordered my sirloin steak medium well. The first time it came out very weird and puffed up and looking like a butterfly rocking back and forth. Weird!!! I’ve never had a steak look like that before. I couldn’t believe they would serve me such a monstrousity for a more upscale restaurant.
It was well done and not medium well.
First if all, they should have NEVER served it to me like that. Anyway, I notified them right away. They promptly took my plate.
I had to wait a while for the replacement. My family was almost done eating by the time they served it. But even the 2nd steak they served was STILL well done and not medium well, it was dry and could has been better seasoned.
It still was not good. I was very disappointed since they are Specifically a steakhouse.
Honestly, I was extremely disappointed.
In light of all this, the waitress Emma said that even they didn’t think it was their best cut.
So I said if it wasn’t a good cut then why do they think they could serve it to me? Because only the best should be coming out of the kitchen.
Quality control matters. Period.
People out here are struggling and paying good money and continue to expect only the best and MORE with increasingly rising cost of food.
If cost is going up, quality needs to be maintained and even improve if that’s possible.
In light of all this, the manager was very gracious to comp my meal and give me a gift certificate for my troubles. So he was very nice and made things right. I really appreciate him doing that.
I really hate to even complain at a restaurant. I really do. Because I just expect my food out right the first time. The sweet potato was pretty good.
The waitress could have been a little more friendlier. However, I know everyone is going through something and maybe she was just having a rough day or something going on in her personal life. You are supposed to key your tricks at the door at a job, but I know people are only human and I give Grace there for her. She was at least prompt to try to correct the situation which I appreciate.
The restaurant seemed clean.
The hostess was very personable and social.
But it’s strange to me that they will only seat 6 people if the whole party is present. I’ve never encountered that before. We had to wait in the lobby until our other 3 showed.
I suppose I thought we could at least be seated and order our drinks and get some bread.
Anyway, I’m giving 5 stars because they corrected the situation and were nice about it and gave a gift card in to of it.
But I still will not recommend anyone order their sirloins if you like it medium well. I feel like the managers need to train their cooks better especially since steak is their specialty.
Overall, I appreciate the professionalism and correcting the situation.
I’m giving 5 stars out of grace because we all need grace at some point in our lives.

So we got to the restaurant with 4 people 2 of us black and 2 of us Hispanic cool they ask us to wait 15mins that was fine 25mins later 4 people came in all Caucasian they wait 5 mins now someone behind the curtain like the wizard of Oz tells them to come on to be seated and we are still waiting to be seated. Ethnicity and race shouldn’t be a problem we make our money the same way and it’s the same color as the white man/woman dollar. It’s sad that some place still hire racist or prejudice people. This was such a bad visit for us to be treated this way.

What stood out too was the teamwork — from staff to management, everyone jumped in to keep things moving. You could feel the mutual respect, and it made the whole place run top-notch.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. We had a good steak combo meal and Cactus blossom. Service today was impeccable. Steaks were cooked properly to our order. Thank you, Texas Roadhouse.

Went into this restaurant to have dinner at around 830pm they took our name and didn’t give us a wait time we waited about 45 minutes they kept telling everyone one it was going to be thirty minutes these were people who came in after us. A few parties stayed a few left at around our 45 minute mark the manger and another person who didn’t identify himself came out and told us the restaurant was out of food,to include steaks and NO baked potatoes or bread. They said it was a busy weekend it was after all February 15th the day after Valentines Day. I think this was poor planning on the person doing the ordering you would think they would order a little more even if it was a slow day before it would eventually been served. It was a waste of time to sit that long with just A I’m sorry my time is valuable and I took the time to stop in at thier establishment and left without anything just an excuse will probably never go to thier place of business again.

It wasn’t good. I came just to get a carryout, and was greeted cheerfully. I asked how much it was to add a lobster tail, and was told it was $14 OK bet. I received my food pretty promptly, and the ribeye was pretty much inedible. I had to chew chew chew and spit out the meat. It was so chewy.. I love ribeye, it’s second only to the fillet. I don’t understand what kind of meat they use, but it was not good at all.. The lobster tail was so tiny. I absolutely regretted adding it to my meal. The mashed potatoes weren’t bad, but everything else was awful, and I will not be back.. I did not have the energy to take the food back to the restaurant and complain. The pictures show almost all of the steak having to be spit out due to the fact that it was pretty much inedible. I tried to cut it with a butter knife, to see how tender it was to start, and it was almost impossible.

Stopped here while traveling back from vacation. Had a dragon fruit margarita, steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus and the spinach dip with fried pita bread and everything was very delicious!! Our waitress was amazing and very kind, she helped us decide what to order and made great recommendations!!

Ridiculous place. Came in for a quick dinner – ended up staying >1.5h because of unexplainable wait times, even though the place was empty on a Monday night.
My medium steak was not just well-done, it was – congratulations. Look at the picture – I didn’t complain because I was not ready to wait another hour to get a new steak. And paid for that insane price (>$50 pp).
