I recently saw photos shared by someone who works at this Popeyes showing severe mold in the kitchen area, including around prep surfaces and storage zones. The photos were taken this week (July 2025).
I was shocked to see how bad it was, this isn’t just a cleanliness issue, it’s a serious health code violation. I have eaten here before and had no idea.
I don’t want to harm anyone’s job, but I do believe customers deserve to know whats going on behind the scenes. I hope someone inspects this location soon and ensures it’s safe for the public.

Disappointed tbh. Asked for a large Mac and cheese, left a whole gap left. Was stingy with the gravy. I asked and paid for 2 bbq sauces, didn’t get any. Didn’t even put a straw in the bag. The sandwich was good though and drink too. Idk where to complain about the driver but they didn’t follow instructions either.

Customer service was amazing! They were prompt, friendly, & gave me heads up on the time for freshly fried spicy. Shyan & Nisha were always moving (it was busy) but still engaged and conversated til my order was ready. Bojangles and KFC better step their staff and the recipe up or they’ll get left behind! I usually have a good experience at this Popeyes location, which is why I always choose it over others, but my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. I ordered through the mobile app for pickup, and when I arrived, the staff told me to park in a spot and wait. I ended up sitting there for over 30 minutes with no updates.
When I finally went inside, I saw several workers just standing around. While waiting in line, I overheard them telling other customers they were out of fries, something they never came out to tell me. When I got to the counter and explained that I had been waiting outside for half an hour, they suddenly grabbed a bag and handed it to me like it had been sitting there the whole time.
When I asked about my drinks, I was told they “never saw any drinks come through” on their screen, even though I ordered and paid for them through the app. On top of all that, when I got back to my car, I realized they gave me the wrong sandwich. None of the employees I saw were wearing gloves or hair nets either, which is concerning.
This whole experience was unorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. I’ve never had this kind of issue here before, but after this visit, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I was there picking up an order for DoorDash. The order was not ready when I got there and I ended up waiting 18 minutes for the food. I was in a DoorDash best to be easy to identified. The employees were clowning around and taking their sweet time moving like pond water while customers were piling up in the lobby. When it comes to cleanliness I was getting sick to my stomach because you can smell the old grease that they were using to fry the chicken and fries and whatever else they use the grease for. From standing at the counter looking at the kitchen and the warmers and shells where they keep the chicken, it was nasty! There was caked on grease and food all over the warmers or shelves or whatever you want to call it where they grab the chicken from to place in the boxes. I don’t know how people can with good conscience see that and still eat from there. Again like I said they were taking their sweet time with no sense of urgency. And it’s unfortunate because at the time when your late picking up orders from DoorDash even if it’s not your fault Because of the merchant We were penalized. Like I said my overall impression I would not personally eat there!

The food was very good and the staff was very nice and had a very short wait. I decided to eat in the restaurant because I don’t like to eat in my car. I’m not sure what smelled so bad but something smelled terrible. I started looking for a clean table. I finally cleaned my own table but couldn’t stand the smell, the filth, dirty windows, dirty floors and a nasty counter and table with ceiling on it. Door torn off trash can holder. I guess this Popeyes is for drive through

Ta’kaylah has amazing patience and made sure our chicken was fresh, she was also pretty as well! Fresh food with a pretty girl handing to us 10 out of 10 I got the family meal and everything was made fresh and the wait wasn’t long!

The macaroni and cheese was phenomenal!!! Best macaroni and cheese maybe I’ve ever eaten. Thank you! And the staff was very friendly. Even though the women’s restroom was not working, we were able to use the men’s. Also the staff were just kind overall.

The service started off fine, but my experience quickly turned negative. Part of my order was missing, and when I asked about it, the young lady became visibly upset—as if I was the problem. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. If staff can’t handle simple mistakes without attitude, management needs to address it immediately. I will not be returning.

Wet Sofa
The epitome of a stereotypical fast food experience. Nothing life changing, but not the worst possible experience. No problems ordering, but no one went out of their way to enhance the experience. Food was received “fast”, in less than a minute. Food itself was average; the chicken and fries were crispy, but you could tell they were sitting for a little and not freshly made, especially the fries and biscuit. Still a decent amount of food for the price, which is usually a given. If you crave a more premium experience, there’s some other well known chicken spots within a few miles. If you know what you’re getting yourself into here, then your expectations will be met.
