We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which was completely fine. After being seated, the host kindly brought us rolls and let us know our server would be with us shortly. However, our server never came to our table.
We watched as they walked around checking on other tables, dropping off bills, and even seating new guests in our section. We waited another 15+ minutes after being seated, finished our rolls, and still were never greeted (no introduction, no water, nothing).
At one point, we saw a nearby table leave, another one get seated, and still no acknowledgment from our server. The final moment for us was when the server began cleaning a table nearby without ever once approaching us. We genuinely felt invisible.
After waiting over 20 minutes total without being spoken to, we decided to leave and go somewhere else. As we stood up to leave, the server looked at us for the first time since we had sat down.
I understand restaurants get busy, but a simple “I’ll be right with you” would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, we left feeling ignored and disappointed.
I was greeted and sat in the bar so I could watch the nfl playoff game that was on. I didn’t have to wait long for service. She brought out my drink and then came back quickly to take my order. Surprisingly, my order was made fast and was out before I had a chance to enjoy the cheddar bar biscuits they brought me.
The meal itself was wonderful. Very flavorful and hit the spot just right.
The service after that was not great. A table across from got up and went to the bar to ask for water refills. That was awkward to see. And while I was eating my meal, servers cleaned the table next to me and I gotta say I’d rather not smell chemicals while I’m eating. Not sure what could be done about that except to go lighter on the amount of sprays. As I finished my meal, I noticed the artwork was very dusty. That got me looking around and I realized the restaurant itself is a bit worn but it didn’t take away from the quality of the meal but it didn’t do much for the decor.
Overall, I was pleased with my experience here. Not sure that I’ll be a repeat customer though. The service from the staff, could have been better when it came to engaging with their customers. Their CEO is big on 10/4 but this location needs more work around that.
The service was EXCELLENT! Our server, Robert/”Rosco”, was EXTREMELY friendly, and the BEST server I’ve ever had! He was on top of everything. He brought me another Dr. Pepper, and more biscuits, before I could even think to ask for them. He took care of all my needs without constantly coming to the table and asking if I needed anything. I can’t express enough how appreciative, and impressed, I was with his service.
