The Downing Street Pour House is located in Hollister’s historic area, where several local shops and restaurants look like an old English village street. The Pour House has a casual, pub atmosphere. We ordered a Bavarian pretzel as an appetizer and we all enjoyed it. The dipping mustard and queso were both good. The Littles had cheeseburgers and fries and they both enjoyed them. Mrs. Flip Out saw the Black and Bleu burger and had to try it; it was delicious, as were the smashed potatoes as a side, which our server recommended. I had smashed potatoes, too, and they complimented the DSPH Nashville Hot sandwich. It was yummy and it was a nice change from what I usually get. Comfortable spot with great food!

The tamale was an incredible appetizer. The green Chile burger was amazing with green Chile cream corn as the side. This is a must eat if you’re in the area! Can’t say enough good about the food or the service, both were excellent!!

My go-to when in the Branson/Hollister area. I ordered the poutine appetizer as my meal. It was a generous portion served very hot. The fries are excellent, crispy outside and soft inside. Love the history of this place.

Lovely little restaurant, hidden away in Hollister. This place is an A+!
The food is well prepared, and flavorful. The cornbread side has subtle flavors, and i am not used to a white corn bread….. that is not however a complaint as it was delicious.
The gluten-free bun was one of the best we have tasted, I almost couldn’t believe it was gluten-free. The sandwiches are delicious and made with quality.
I love the astatic, set in a Inn built in early 1900. The old English style is really cool.

Had a great lunch today and the food was great. We had been here before but probably close to ten years ago. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was really good but not that hot, added hot sauce. Waitress ,Amber was very attentive but not hovering. Best food we’ve had since we’ve been in Branson all week.

Absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a great place to eat you have to go check it out! Everything will melt in your mouth! Wear stretchy pants! We didn’t get a picture of our appetizer because we started eating it too fast before we got the picture. Sorry about that but it was amazing. We got the southern something, but it had pimento cheese and sausage and like crouton bread very good

Our server Lia was on point and had great recommendations. We received top notch service even though she was super busy. The food is definitely rated in the top 5 best places I’ve ever eaten and definitely the best Rueben I’ve ever had. The pub had authentic English cuisine you won’t find anywhere else in the area and every dish our party ordered was absolutely amazing! We also ordered several drinks and all were astounding. The crew at The Pour House definitely make expertly blended cocktails! 10/10 I highly recommend

Very good pub full of excellent food options. The fish and chips were outstanding, along with the burger. Finish that off with a gooey butter cake topped in blackberry reduction and icecream. We’ll worth the stop for some good pub grub.

This was our first time visiting Downing Street (found them on Trip Advisor), and to say we will be back on our next visit to the Branson area, you can count on it. I ordered the prime rib special with a loaded baked potato, steamed broccoli and toast. My husband had the pork chop special with grits and French fries. Everything could not have tasted any better, and Amber, our server, was top notch. She was attentive, friendly, informative and made us feel right at home. The decor of Dowing Street is also very memorable (pictures attached). The tables/chairs we sat at in one of the dining rooms were a little disappointing (seemed more country diner), but the food and service more than made up for it. We did get confused when trying to enter Downing Street. There was a patio door that said to use main entrance pointing to our left. The. Only entrance was to Ye Olde English Inn. Their colors and style didn’t match Downing Street, so we didn’t think that was the right place. We finally ventured in to ask how to get to Downing, and apparently, the two businesses may share an entrance? Not exactly sure, but we found it. The door entrance should say “Downing Street” for clarification. Again, we’re boomers, so maybe it’s an us problem. Again, go here! Soon! You won’t regret it.

Downing Street is more of an “upscale smokehouse pub”—it’s owned by the award-winning Gettin’ Basted BBQ team, so the food quality is usually the star of the show!! The Ruben sandwich was amazing!!! We heard about this place from one of the locals in Branson!
