First time eating at Iron Works. Let me start by saying that our waitress, Rachael G., was amazing—her service was truly top-notch! We will definitely be back and will specifically ask for her.
The food also did not disappoint. For the appetizer, we had the Shrimp and Cornbread, and it absolutely blew us away (10/10). My wife ordered the Steak Frites with Truffle Fries, which she said were delicious (10/10). I had the Braised Beef Short Rib, served on a bed of mashed potatoes with carrots and green beans. The short rib was incredibly tender and flavorful (10/10).
For dessert, we opted for the Almond & Toffee Cheesecake, but unfortunately, it was served at room temperature rather than chilled. The taste was also a bit bland, so we’d give it a 4.5/10. Next time, we’ll try the Bread Pudding instead, as it seemed to be a popular choice with other diners.
We also enjoyed two of the Iron Works Doli pineapple-infused vodkas, which were both delicious and strong (10/10). Overall, the experience, service, and atmosphere were a perfect 10/10. We will be back!

We came in for my moms 70th birthday and we had 13 of us. Not a very large restaurant but we had a very long table in the corner. We sat and got drinks, ordered our food and then started chatting. Its loud in the restaurant, small place, peoples voices carry. Some time has gone by and my mom hasn’t gotten her drink and then I started to get hungry and looked at my phone and an hour has gone by and we still haven’t gotten our food. We asked about our food and they said because some people that had allergies there was a hold up. An hour really but maybe 5 min after some peoples food came out. My dad was still waiting for his food after everyone was served and started eating. When we got our food I didn’t hear any complaints. Our server came back and asked if we needed anything else. We finished, had cake and finished up. This place is accessible to get in but the tables aren’t really handicap accessible so we brought a lap tray.

Both the dining room and bar were packed. Would strongly suggest reservations for dinner service. I had a table within the 20 minute quoted rate, but never received a text notification saying it was available.

The food and service beyond that qas excellent. The wait staff handled the dinner rush admirably. The Zuppa Toscana and Cast Iron Bread Pudding were both terrific, but the standout was the Braised Short Rib.

Would absolutely return, but I would either place a reservation or arrive earlier in the day.

Like clockwork, you can find me at Iron Works the moment I hop off the plane.

Each visit has been consistently pleasant and tasty.

The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from the Providence airport and connected to the Hilton Hotel. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare since it’s tied to the hotel and functions as a commuter spot. Peak days are nuts for parking. Buuuuuuuuuuut once you walk inside, all of that fades away. You step into a modern, cozy space that immediately relaxes you, paired with great service and a perfectly clean environment.

My server has regularly been Brianna. She is very sweet, personable, and engaging. She knows the menu well and always makes great recommendations.

After coming here a few times, my go-to drink is the Tawny Ember. Chef’s kiss!

I’ve also ordered the Brussels sprouts, grilled swordfish, and fish tacos. All great choices. And honestly, it’s Rhode Island, you really can’t go wrong with seafood.

Stop by and give them a shot.

The food was delicious, the staff was kind, considerate, and very attentive. They made me feel comfortable and cared for. The meatloaf with spinach and House made mashed potatoes was incredible. The crispy brussel sprouts with bacon and apples in a balsamic glaze or some of the best I have ever eaten. I opted for an unusual choice, chocolate tort, unusual for me. Me. I like chocolate but I don’t love it, this chocolate tort however, was sensational! Thanks to John for recommending my dessert today.
I made my reservation for 7:00 however arrived early to make sure I could find the restaurant and parking spot. I sat in my vehicle as the sunset and even the view of the building from the outside was lovely.

Amazing late night rendevouz for a bite while out and about…this was the perfect spot. Waitress was attentive, great suggestions and they serve Downeast Cider. We had a great time and will be back, again!

Straight up. Without question. This is my favorite restaurant in RI. Period. The grill is unmatchable by any other restaurant this state has to offer, due to it’s flame, it’s smoke and season. Every dish comes out as consistent as the last visit. Personally I love the Salmon. I love how they change the ingredients with the seasons, everytime is consistent as the last. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Everytime we go here, it’s always an experience. Looking forward to the fall Salmon dish this year and every once in awhile, I’m good for that Wagyu burger, as you also can’t get a better flavor on a Wagyu burger than what that grill has to offer you. 5 stars all the way. Looking forward to my next visit

Hubby and I were out Christmas shopping and grab a bite for lunch. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich (pictured) and the hubby ordered the Wood Grilled Burger. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was the best crispy chicken sandwich I have ever had- so much flavor, juicy and sooo good! The hubby said his burger was cooked to perfection and also very flavorful. We never order desert at lunch. But our waitress was so good at her job, that we actually ordered the Cast Iron Bread Pudding with ice cream and shared it. It was amazing and plenty to share! The price of everything was very reasonable. We will definitely go back!

We walked in without a reservation for 2 after 7:30pm on a Friday night & the hostess crew was smiling & hospitable. Zach was a warm & effective server, who brought us hot food from an open kitchen that did not disappoint.
I highly recommend the sausage, kale & sweet potato soup du jour. I also enjoyed the maitaki mushroom appetizer. Splitting the bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla gelato is how we finished our meal, together with after dinner drinks: a hot toddy & the Midnight in Providence (like a Manhattan) martini. Yum!

We stopped for lunch in Warwick, RI at the Iron Works on Jefferson Blvd. Upon entering the restaurant it was apparent this is a popular spot, the place was super busy and loud. We opted to sit outside the Hostess said someone would be out shortly. Well the only knock we had was that shortly never came and I went inside to see if someone could take our order. The Hostess (Christina) was super friendly and helpful. Our wait staff eventually did take our order. we chose to split the 1 Lb. pastrami sandwich with fries. Excellent sandwich piled with a nice lean pastrami and mustard with seeds.
