I’ve been coming here for almost 7 years now. The prices have increased slightly but that’s to be expected. The food is always great. The grilled chicken tacos are one of my favorites. Carne Asada fries are like opening a birthday present. Just had a spicy chicken supreme burrito tonight and it was incredible. Large portions. The churros are off the chain. Breakfast burritos are massive and for now still remain under 10 dollars (9.95). Also be careful ordering through 3rd party venders as they upcharge you for all items. I’m going to leave some pictures I took tonight of the drive through menu so everyone can have updated prices from Alfonso’s (not door dash boooo). Bottom line is I love this place, love the value, love the people, and I will continue to be a customer here on a weekly basis. With everyone’s prices skyrocketing around town I just want to say thank you Alfonso’s for remaining one of the best values in west side.

Everything about this place is solid. If you love meat, not fillers, order the carne asada burrito or any of the tacos!! So delicious!

I went here because a co-worker enjoys their breakfast burrito. The restaurant was nice and clean. And the stuff were great. I ordered a breakfast burrito and had it for two meals. Its was sooo yummy!! I will definitely be back.

Tried this place for the first time. The food was delicious. We got some rolled tacos, the Monster burrito and the Loko burrito. I personally loved the Loko burrito, and it was huge! On the screen you can’t see the price of those two though, and they are $13. Overall it was a bit too expensive for Mexican food and I would go back only if I’m really craving rolled tacos inside a burrito.

Customer service and great food. In an era when downtown “taco” places are charging $6 for one tiny taco with barely any meat in it or flavor, Alfonso’s has your back with some of the finest Mexican food in town. The Birria tacos are the best I’ve had in Colorado or New Mexico or Texas. Two make me full when those tiny downtown boutique taco joints leave me hungry after 5.
This place has always been solid. Been here 22 years and have ate at Alfonso’s a bit in that time. Staff is always friendly even at 2am. The breakfast burritos are fantastic as well.
I love eating in because it reminds me what a waste these $200k build outs in fancier restaurants is a sign of so so good. This place has soul and the people who work here and the people who eat here make it a special place every time.

Unprofessional behavior ruined an otherwise great meal
My husband and I came to pick up our order today, excited to enjoy a good meal from a place we genuinely liked. But as he finished paying and turned around, the employee with curly red hair sitting near the counter started signaling to her friend to look at him — and then they both laughed. She was also eating and on her phone while supposedly attending to us.
I later learned her name is Yaniriz, and that moment completely changed how I see this restaurant. We came here to support a local business, not to be mocked or made to feel uncomfortable. There’s nothing funny about treating paying customers like they’re a joke.
The food was great — truly. But no matter how good the food is, it can’t cover up the feeling of being disrespected in a place where we should have felt welcome. It was humiliating, unprofessional, and left me upset for the rest of the night.
I hope the owners read this and understand that experiences like this drive people away. Respect should come before everything else.

My wife and I had a very busy Saturday and were craving some Mexican food. As a result, we kept our eyes peeled for a place that we would like to stop for dinner. We came across Alfonso’s and she remembered that some of her old coworkers loved this place. The decision was made and we decided to eat it there.
We ordered 3 items – Chicken Burrito Combination Plate, Carne Asada Plate & Nachos – that came to be right under $30. Now if you can see from the photos that value is insane.
Right from the get go – all 3 items are LOADED with tons of meat. All of the items were very generous on the protein and that’s what I love to see. My burrito was massive and full of flavor.
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her carne Asada plate and thought the carne Asada on both the plate and nachos were fantastic.
The nachos were a great addition as the chips they use can hold a substantial amount of toppings and never were soggy or broken. They picked the right chips for nachos! Plus everything tasted fresh and had tons of flavor.
I will mention that this place is very established place. The entire time we were there, the drive thru was always packed. This place is a hit and I’m glad I have another go-to place for Mexican food.
I would highly recommend for everyone to give Alfonso’s a try. You won’t be disappointed!
