I had the single Stockyard burger with a small side of fries, plenty of food and it was fantastic. Loved this place, disappointed I didn’t go for a beer but with a long drive I opted against it. Great spot, stop in and get some great food.

Interesting atmosphere, they did a great job transformimg an old fast food spot. Customer service was very good. Food all tasted good and fresh. I would say the burgers are a little small compared to their price which is quite big. Definitely worth checking out at least once. Shake and fries were good.

What a total disappointment. I was really looking forward to eating here after reading reviews, which made it seem significant. I ordered the Riverside Burger. What I received was a Burger that was on the smaller side. There was nothing notable about the taste or presentation. The burger came with no fries, only two small pickle chips. For a nearly $15 burger that was average in taste and small in size, it should at least come with fries. When leaving a negative review, I always like to give the establishment a chance to redeem itself; however, I do not think it will be necessary, as I feel it is unlikely that 50 Burger Shakes & Beer will make the necessary changes that would encourage me to update this review. I really dislike leaving any establishment feeling like I’ve been taken advantage of, and that is precisely how I felt.

Located right on the main drag in Salida, this place looks like it was recently built or recently remodeled. Very clean and bright.
It is a counter service hybrid – you order at the counter but then they bring your food to you and bus your table when you’re ready to go. Everyone who works here was friendly and polite.
The menu is extensive and I tried a burger and fries. The fries were excellent – cooked and salted perfectly. The burger was delicious with a light, puffy toasted bun.
The dining room is enormous and they also have an outdoor patio which is great if you have a dog and the weather is good.

We were hesitant to go. OMG!! Had to take the fries with us, another meal right there. Hubby had the mushroom/swiss. I think the poblano chili out ranked the mushroom. The shakes were awesome. Banana shake actually had bananas in it and I had the black cherry. Definitely going back

This is a Must visit on our annual visit to Salida. The fries are always crunchy, hot & amazing! I’m a sucker for a good burger with an over easy egg on top (highly recommend the Shavano burger). My daughter’s favorite are the shakes that are bigger than she is! If you’re a fan of beer battered onion rings, these are a don’t miss. They always have a great beer selection.

For the price it was not all that hyped up to be. As a bariatric patient the burgers were small and just right for me but not for my husband and boys. Fries were bought separately not with your burger everything was $15 on up. If you do decide to come for food just wanted to let you know about the prices just in case. The shakes seem to be a hit as we sat here seems like everyone just ordered shakes. Staff were all friendly, place was nice and clean maybe next time we will come for shakes.
