This is hands down the best Mexican and best dinner I’ve literally ever had. My family and I were visiting the Scottsdale area, looking for some authentic Mexican restaurants and this place was beyond our expectations. We had an excellent server who provided great recommendations. Definitely get the Steve-a-Rita!! Everyone was pleased with their entrees, I can’t recommend this place more! It’s been a few days since visiting and we’re all still Talking about it. This is the place!! I cannot wait until we’re able to visit again.

Food and atmosphere was great. I had a random sampling of food, starting with the shrimp ceviche which I would say is their version of a Mexican shrimp cocktail (it was delicious). I also has their Chicken Tortilla soup which was good but I don’t care for the diced / shredded pieces of chicken (texture is like tuna fish out of a can), and I also had the elote which was incredible with burts of flavor (served off cobb in a bowl). Chips and salsa was great and I really like their salsa as it’s very flavorful and thicker (not watery). Overall this place was great with good food.

The food was amazing! I had the chicken mole and ate it all up. Their salsa tastes great. I think it has a smoked taste to it with just a hint of spicy-ness. I wish they had it for sale, I’d buy a case!
The only downside is the limited parking.

We were here for lunch on NYE and we had a great experience. Service was speedy, food was delicious, and atmosphere was cozy! I had the fried pollo burrito, and hubby had the carnitas platter. I would recommend both!

Great service. Our server Sergio was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good and came out fast. We loved the house made salsa. The tacos were good, but seemed small for the price. The patio was shaded and comfortable with misters.

I stopped here to take in the atmosphere and have a drink whilst walking the neighborhood on Scottsdale Road. The decor is quite nice and the menu looks great. I will be back on my next visit and explore the menu a bit.

Many many food choices that you do not see at your average mexican restaurant. The reason is this is not your average mecican restaurant. High quality ingredients, large portions and a lot of side choices above the usual rice and beans makes it even more special. Plus thoughtful and interesting options for the Vegetarians and Vegans in your group. Will have to try one next time.
