Just a really sweet place to hang out either with friends, family, or your significant other. Beautiful, cozy decor work fireplaces warming is up. Loved the food! Very tasty and classic as well as healthy options. We had the bison cream cheese dip – they accommodated my gluten free needs by bringing both the flatbread for hubby and corn tortilla chips for me! Had salmon berry salad, husband had burger and fries. They even had option for GF bun! For dessert we shared dark chocolate creme brulee – super yummy!

I usually never leave bad reviews. Let me start off by saying the restaurant is beautiful. Everything was going great…service was quick, salads were great, drink was unique. Then came the main courses. My Husband had steak…looked great. I ordered a cheese pizza…only problem is when it came to the table IT WAS PEPPERONI! I DO NOT EAT PORK. Have Not EATEN PORK in about 12 yrs. Notified the waitress, she stated they would fix it. Came out 10 mins later with what looked like a cheese pizza, but was in fact the same pepperoni pizza as before…JUST REMOVED THE PEPPERONI!

Atmosphere was fantastic. Waiter went above and beyond. I loved the French Dip Panini. Also, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts were very good. Highly recommend.

We have eaten here several times and we have never had a bad meal. We are here again today and once again delicious meal and our server Carter was exceptionally wonderful I think he is the best waiter we have ever had at any restaurant. The lasagna was so good highly recommend

My fiance took me out for my 21st birthday and Precious was our waitress. She was very kind and attentive, and the food was delicious, well worth the price. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, and the restaurant manager came around to check on each table to make sure all was well. You can tell that the restaurant runs great as a team. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend dining here. We will be coming back!

This is by far my favorite place to go. We ALWAYS sit at the bar, we always have the best service and EVERYTHING we eat here is amazingggg!! This also is the most consistent place that we have ever eaten at. Its not hit or miss ITS ALWAYS A HIT. I would come here and eat every single day if I could. There cracker thin crust pizza is a must try every one of them. The picture I am posting is what I had on Saturday 10/4, it was the pizza they had on special and yes that is Pico de gallo on top!!!!!

My wife asked for a booth since we had a car seat with us, they asked if we wanted a high chair for our toddler and when we said no, they went beyond and asked if we wanted a booster seat. Pleasantly surprised that they have a booster seat, since most restaurants either don’t care to offer one or just have the high chair option. Anyways, this booster seat made our night dining out smoother since our toddler was “stuck” in it and well seated and not wanting to get up to walk around.
We ordered the salmon berry salad, as always, love their salad. Salmon was perfectly cooked, moist and soft and not dry at all. The portion of the trout was good and seasoned just the right amount. Shrimp and grits was delicious and creamy, too. The shrimp was also cooked to just the right amount. Although our server wasn’t overly friendly, we did appreciate her handing over a refilled sweet tea as soon as our first glass was empty – didn’t even need to ask her and wasn’t even aware that she was paying attention. In an economy like this, these little things can become the make or break. 10/10 will be returning for quality food and service.

I am gluten free, so I really loved their gluten free menu options! The server also advised they have separate spaces in the kitchen for gluten free! While I understand they can’t label their items as celiac safe, I felt safe eating here with their knowledge of gluten free and taking things seriously

I have heard several people rave about the steaks, so I decided to try the 8 oz. filet on Saturday night, and I was very disappointed. First, my steak, which I ordered to be cooked medium, was cooked medium-well+ (by the time someone returned to check on us, it was well done throughout). Instead of taking my plate away, I was prompted to put my steak on a side plate, ensuring I would have cold mashed potatoes when the new steak arrived. Their second attempt at a filet was much better than the first. However, the edges of the steak were still well done. The flavor of the steak was just ok. I found myself pairing the steak with the mashed potatoes to actually give it some flavor (the mashed potatoes were delicious!). Lesson learned.

I was especially disappointed when I ordered the Very Berry Salmon Salad online, and the salmon was so dry, it was barely edible. I provided feedback, and never received any response. Not the quality of customer service you are looking for when you pay $25 for a salad. This wasn’t the first time I had a bad experience with the salmon either. Another time, I ordered the same salad while dining in. The salmon arrived, clearly burned, and so dry. I asked for a replacement. By the time the replacement arrived, I was nearly finished eating the salad. I took a bite of the salmon, and it was still bleeding. Disgusting. The bartender said a third attempt likely wouldn’t be any better because it is the same person cooking the salmon. Why is a manager not cooking the refires? Please, River Birch Lodge, train your cooks better. The inconsistency is maddening.
