I ordered through DoorDash, that’s not the problem, I wanted a large mashed potato and Cajun gravy, I did not get a large mashed potato and Cajun gravy, instead I got Mac and cheese, for the price that we pay for these sides you think they would at least try to make sure they get it right, when I tried to call, nobody answered, I’m at work. I can’t go there, the chicken was OK. My red beans and rice was OK but I wanted mashed potatoes and gravy!! Mac and cheese is ok, I ate some of it, I just prefer mashed potatoes with the Cajun gravy, that’s what I paid for that’s what I want!
I’m definitely not a happy customer at the moment.

Ordered 6 wings and was given a three piece chicken instead. Went back and traded it out for the correct order and what you see in the picture below is what I got looks more like somebody ate this and they just threw the leftovers back in a box this really sucks. Maybe if half the employees weren’t standing around the garbage can smoke and weed, and we’re paying attention to their job this wouldn’t be going on.

And she wanted me to drive back from Tyndall to replace a order they messed up. Most companies just put you in a replacement book. Why would I want the same person to give me half done chicken.

This Popeyes is like a toxic relationship. When it’s good, it’s great. When it’s bad it’s the most horrific experience you’ve ever had. Don’t order anything at night. You won’t get anything you asked for and the chicken will be cold, hard, greasy and missing its skin.

We ordered a family meal of 12 chicken STRIPS and received 12 pc mixed. They forgot the side of coleslaw. They had me pull up off to rails to wait for my order. I NEVER got my receipt. When I got home I called and they wanted me to drive 20 minutes back to them to exchange the chicken in rush hour traffic. The manager on duty was Hanna and was unprofessional to say the least. The GM Elizabeth was not available to speak to. STRIPS sounds nothing like mixed. I recommend going to another Popeyes where they might be willing to keep your business.

Went to buy chicken they didn’t give me my full order after I paid full price. They left out two sides and took an hour and 30 minutes for the food to get here. The food was not cooked at room. Temperature will not be going back will spend my money on me don’t recommend. Don’t go to the Popeyes on 231 they rip you off.

I would give them less than 1 star if I could. The manager working there on November 12th, 2025 between 4:35pm to 6:35pm is pathetic and shouldn’t be a manager. A couple of the staff members working there are just as bad. They do not care about anyone’s meal tats been ordered. Popeyes is usually a good place to go with good food, but the staff is absolutely garbage and I wouldn’t spend any money at this location @ 2711 US-231.
They failed to get a simple order correct. And when bringing that to their attention, they had an attitude about it and didn’t care they they messed up something so simple… fast forward to their “solution” to the issue, they offered to make another meal correctly. We drove 30 minutes back to Popeyes to get the new meal, only for it to be wrong again and made poorly. We did not try for a 3rd time to get our boneless wings made the way we paid for. We accepted the fact that we paid for an incorrect meal, and used that experience as our reason to not go back.
Stay away from this location. Not all of the workers are bad, but the manager and the few workers involved in taking the order, and relaying the information to the cooks/workers prepping the food, are horrible at their simple job.
I hope one day upper management, corporate, or whoever is the main one in charge, realizes that half their staff and their manager is disposable and should hire a better crew that can do their job the correct way with a better attitude.

My husband ordered online, 10 piece spicy chicken and he got 5 complimentary wings through the app. Got to the house chicken was so hard you couldn’t bite it. I called the restaurant to express my how dissatisfied i was and the lady who answered the phone said the manager said the chicken had just come up after putting me on a bridge hold. Just looking at its appearance, anyone could tell that the chicken had been sitting for so long it had turned colors and again very hard. She told me to bring it back. I immediately took it back to the restaurant and that moment I just didn’t want it anymore. No replacement…because I decided to get a refund. I had no taste for it. When I walked into the restaurant I observed customers waiting in line and the manager on speaker phone having a personal conversation while fixing food. The phone was up so loud That I know what shes going to do for Thanksgiving. Very very unprofessional The other employee came and got the bag from me counted thr pieces and rudely walked off to “replace” the order. I told her I didn’t want a replacement I wanted to prove to her the quality of food that I received she said ok and turned her back murmuring words to the manager. No apology …nothing just walked off nonchalantly. Ive never written a review for a restaurant because I know everything is not going to be perfect. I just didn’t appreciate how things were handled and the level of unprofessional behavior I witnessed. I will NEVER go back and spend another dime at that location.
