Zo’s Good Burger is a fast-growing, Michigan-based burger joint that started as a humble operation inside a local gas station—fueled by flavor, family, and the voices of our customers. Born from the minds of three brothers with a craving for better Halal burgers, we set out to flip the script on fast food by focusing on freshness, customization, and bold, city-style flavor. Every patty is crafted with the perfect fat-to-meat ratio, every topping is a deliberate choice, and every order is a chance for our guests to create their version of the perfect burger. What started as a simple idea has grown into a multi-location experience built around quality, community, and the pursuit of burger greatness. This is Good Done Gooder.
Fast food–style eatery turning out innovative halal burgers, plus chicken, wraps & shakes.

Let me just say this: the Biscoff dessert was next-level. Smooth, decadent, and the perfect way to cap off the meal. And the truffle burger? Absolute perfection. Juicy, full of flavor, and cooked just right — probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in ages.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and five-star service, this is it. I can’t wait to come back again!

The vibes at the Michigan Avenue location are on point. The black and red decor gives the place a modern, stylish look, and everything was super clean and well-maintained. It has a fresh, contemporary feel that really stands out. The service was also excellent. I was in a bit of a rush to catch a flight and mentioned it to the staff. Even though there was a line and a 15-minute wait, they made sure to get my order out faster so I could make it to the airport on time. That kind of service goes a long way.
I ordered their signature Good Burger, and it absolutely lived up to the name. The pretzel bun added a unique, flavorful touch that made the whole burger stand out. It came stacked with a flavorful smash patty, multiple types of cheese, crispy boneless fried chicken pieces, fried cheese stick, and an onion ring. It was loaded, flavorful, and really well balanced—not your average fast food burger at all.
The best part? It’s halal. It’s so refreshing to see halal spots like this stepping up and competing with the best—both in quality and in presentation. This isn’t just a hole-in-the-wall kind of place; Zo’s is proof that halal restaurants can offer amazing food, top-tier service, and a clean, modern dining experience. It’s a great reminder that we don’t have to compromise on ambiance or taste when looking for halal options.
The burger was around $11, which I felt was totally fair for the quality and portion. Overall, Zo’s delivered a solid burger experience with great vibes, fast service, and delicious food. I’d definitely come back again.
