My husband and I agreed this restaurant is one of the best we’ve ever ate at. You could tell right away a lot of locals eat there. He got the Bayou platter. I got the fish and shrimp. You get a small sampling of swamp soup to start followed by your meal that includes the BEST slaw, homemade hush puppies, fried okra, and fries as sides. The only bad thing o could say was they serve Pepsi products But I can overlook that for that delicious food!

The food is very typical fried seafood and burgers. Nothing special. The server was attentive and pleasant. The gumbo was served cold but the server replaced it with hot gumbo. The only thing with color is the salad. Not a good place if you are wheat intolerant. We were there because of others in our group; it’s just not our kind of place. I will not return.

Outstanding fish house right off the main drag through Foley. No need to go spend unnecessary money on lesser food. Catfish was amazing – get the strips – and it was piled high. Cole slaw is delicious, and the swamp soup was a pleasant surprise. You won’t find better food or a better price, and the service was great as well.

Fried green tomatoes were outstanding! We had a little bit of everything in the line of seafood, including frog legs. All were delicious! The wait staff was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The bus help picked up used plates from our table and I appreciated that! A great experience.

This was our 3rd trip here, our 1st with both of our kids. Service was prompt, our waitress was great and very attentive. She allowed my 1yo son to keep the menu because he was playing with it after we ordered. She also remembered both my and my 3yo daughter’s extra ranch. I asked her what was good and ordered her suggestion. She did not let down, the Swamp Burger was exactly what I was looking for. They have fried green tomatoes and they were PHENOMENAL!

Stayed in Gulf Shores for a week and went to all the tourist traps like the hangout. Heard from a local that this place in Foley was really good. I am glad we went!
It was the best meal of the week by far! We got shrimp and crab gumbo, hush puppies, and fried green tomatoes for appetizer. Had the fish and shrimp combo basket with the fried okra,fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Natasha was a fantastic waitress ! So nice and helpful ! Best restaurant in the area by far !

We stopped on our way back to Gulf Shores. The service was great. Our server was Tiffany. She was grea! I was having a hard time deciding, and she suggested the Shrimp B.L.T. I sounded so good. I went for it and was not disappointed. It was so so good! Deep fried shrimp, fried green tomato, Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, and crawfish sauce and came with fries. My husband got a Cajun Crawfish Pistol plate. It came with fried okra, hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw, which he said was good.

Some of the best fried catfish I have ever had. Great crispy breading and a moist fish inside. Also the hushpuppies are some of the best I have ever had as well. Light and fluffy and not tough like I have had many times before. Great choice if you’re looking for fried seafood of all kinds.
