I was really looking forward to this experience. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. Firstly, the dining space and menu options are huge. Our server was great, knowledgeable, and offered detailed suggestions. The food, however, was very underwhelming. The gator bites were dripping with grease and about 1/3 of the portion was pure breading. Contrary, the mozzarella sticks were both generously sized and paired nicely with their marinara sauce. For entrées, we sampled the chicken fettuccine and, one of their House Specialties, the Crescent City Chicken. I opted for hush puppies as a side instead of the creamed corn. Again, I was highly disappointed. The hush puppies were extremely dry and dense. I was barely able to manage one bite. Thankfully, they were accommodating in allowing me to substitute them for a side of rice. That was definitely the way to go as the standard bottom layer of fried potatoes dulls the overall flavor of the dish. My suggestion is to swap the potatoes for rice and choose an alternative side that better complements your flavor palette. The chicken fettuccine was perfectly adequate, but nothing special. All in all, I’m sure that there are plenty of other menu options that would have made this a better experience. It might be worth a return visit sometime down the road.

Found this great restaurant passing through Lincoln. Its in amongst a bunch of other non chain restaurants in the Haymarket area of the city.
The atmosphere is very up beat and the servers and restaurant staff do a great job. The food is very flavorful and the portions are pretty big. They also have good drink deals for most nights of the week.

Doing a show in town, so I stopped in this morning and tried out the new Chorizo breakfast Burrito. Was incredible. Was in a hurry so I didn’t grab the waitress name but she was extremely friendly, and provided great service. Will stop in next time I’m in town !

Great place to hang for tailgating. Have a meal pre or post game day. Plenty of all the other games on during a Saturday or Sunday. Food was awesome. Service was awesome. Cocktails were great. Lots of fun. It is a family environment too. Nostalgic and some fun rare old cans available. Update from the weekend of the Michigan game 2025 went again total blast.

Attentive staff on a busy Saturday evening. The patio was perfect for the weather and had a great feel of being downtown. Food was delicious as far as seasoning goes, but the chicken and sausage was well over cooked. Gumbo was spot on, res beans and rice was excellent, and the hush puppies were spot on. Tried the gator bites…I wouldn’t recommend as it is more breading than meat so not much flavor. Overall experience was great.

This place hit just all the marks. Food, service, and vibe was all on point. We are here on business from out of town and had recommendations from the locals about this place. We were seated immediately and our waitress showed up promptly to take our drink orders. Her name was Sarah and she was absolutely amazing. She did everything right. Even when a couple of members of our party weren’t pleased with their food, she was attentive and patient. She made additional recommendations and went to put in new orders. I had the armadillo eggs and they were fried perfectly. They were something new that I’ve never tried before and I was pleased. I had mine with blue cheese. I also had the wings with two flavors: sweet chili and buffalo. Both were good and fresh. One of my partners had the bayou flavor. I tried one and it tasted even better than what I ordered. Perfect place to get some friends together and have a good time with good food.

Stopped for lunch while visiting Lincoln for a show. The checkout from the hotel was at 11am, which is exactly when this place opens and it happened to be right across the street. The staff was very friendly and patient with my questions about their hush puppies and fried gator. We sat out on the patio, which quickly filled up on a nice summer day. The food (buffalo burger with fries and gator po’boy with hush puppies) was very good. I’d say maybe a touch heavy on pickles and red onion, but that’s a matter of personal preference and both can easily be removed. Would definitely visit again.

First off the decor in here is awesome. It definitely has a man cave/garage feel and has many nice peices on the walls and tables. The menu has a large selection and portions are very generous. I had the alligator plate and it was good. I just wish the gator tail was cut into larger pieces rather then the tiny pieces they were. The only complaint is the batter to meat ratio was off and I would have liked more gator tail. Would go back

Love the food, had the fettuccine with crawfish. It’s a solid choice. Service was great except she kept coming over about every 5 minutes and seeing if we needed anything. I don’t mind get asked, but every couple of minutes started to be annoying.
