It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

Got a shrimp meal with the salad bar, which also includes a hot food bar with wings, tacos, and other items, as well as a soup bar and dessert bar. It was all good! Next time I’ll skip the meal and just get the unlimited trip salad bar.
Looks freshly remodeled.
Only saw our server at the beginning and end and had to walk around with my empty glass and find another server to get an iced tea refill because their self-serve soft drink station was not in operation.
But overall, not a bad experience!

Sizzler in Flagstaff, Arizona hit the spot. I went for my favorite — the double Malibu Chicken — perfectly crispy, golden, and topped with that signature sauce and melted cheese that makes it impossible not to crave again. I also added the salad bar, which honestly might be the best in the industry. Everything was fresh, well-stocked, and full of variety. The service was friendly and quick, and this particular Sizzler has clearly been renovated recently — it looks clean, modern, and welcoming inside. It feels like Sizzler is making a real comeback, and this location proves it.

Food was solid across the board and the service was genuinely good. I ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly, which is not always a given at a chain restaurant. The salad bar was fresh, well stocked, and the dessert options there were better than expected.
Only odd part of the experience was the tipping process. I was not asked about a tip when ordering, and when I asked, I was told they would run my card at the register for the tip amount and then give me cash back. The receipt still had a tip line on it, which was confusing. It worked out fine, just an unusual setup.
Overall, good food, good service, and a solid place to eat in Flagstaff. I would go back.

I loved dining at Sizzler for dinner this evening. It was such a pleasure and very nostalgic to visit a sizzler Restaurant for the first time since my childhood in Southern California. I had so many great memories with my mom and dad and my brother enjoying many evenings having dinner over the years at a couple of the locations in Southern California in the past. I truly love the Flagstaff Arizona Sizzler location nestled in the scenic mountains and such beautiful and amazing views.I ordered the 14oz Ribeye Steak with Lobster, Loaded Baked Potato and Sweet Tea and it was delicious!

First time in a Sizzler. Wast off money. The mashed potatoes taste like powered potatoes. The steak was not a tri tip. The grilled chicken tastes like a piece of rubber. The rice was the best thing on my plate.

The employees are lazy here .. don’t expect refills..you are a ghost to the employees for some reason they don’t see you!!we sat down left receipt on table ..came back to the table no receipt..well sad to say no drink for 15 minutes employees seen me at the buffet table getting food!!!!and still no drinks I had to go to the drink room to get something drink ..food is great quiet place..would I stop in hmmmmm! We were so excited to see a Sizzler when we pulled into town. I went in and ordered to go (to bring to our hotel room) and the gentleman working behind the counter was great. Extremely friendly and helpful. The salad bar was good but could of been a lot better but the lettuce was definitely fresh. We ordered steak and lobster and the shrimp plate. When we opened it all up in our room 10 minutes later the meal was still hot and perfect. The lobster was especially delicious. Thank you to the gentleman that made my experience perfect. Sorry I don’t remember your name but it was on 11/26/25 around 4pm or so. Thank you Sizzler, it’s been 15 years since I had you last and it’s as good as I remember ❤️

We had a great dining experience at Sizzler in Flagstaff! The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was our amazing waiter, Robert! He was super attentive—checking in just the right amount to make sure we were satisfied with our meals and had everything we needed. It’s rare to find someone who strikes the perfect balance of friendly and professional, but he nailed it. Thank you for the great service—you made our visit that much better!
