The food was good not great but good. It wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it would be…since, upon entry, the aroma of good smelling food was in the air. I ordered the Colombian Skirt steak which came with white rice (I paid $1 more for yellow rice), beans, roasted corn on the cob, potato with sour cream, sweet plantains and red onion/tomato salad. I also had a Mango Mojito which was delicious. The steak was tender and seasoned, the corn was seasoned, the rice was bland, unexpected since I opted for the yellow rice, it only tasted better when I added the beans, the potato was meh, the sour cream helped it out. The waitress was great until it was time to pay the bill. She attempted to charge me the credit card surcharge although I was paying with my debit card. IT IS ILLEGAL AND UNLAWFUL TO ADD A SURCHARGE TO DEBIT CARDS AND PREPAID CREDIT CARDS. Unfortunately she was not abreast of the law and called her manager, who was unaware of how illegal it is, so she went to her boss. Needless to say I was charged the cash price and not the credit card surcharge. The waitress thought she was giving me advice and said next time I come bring cash…how about I won’t come back and you should learn the law. I would recommend this place as the food was good but not great, however don’t get scammed into paying the credit card surcharge if you’re using your debit card.

It was an ok experience.

Ambience was loud to enjoyed dinner, or at least the time we went. We had coffees, hot and cold and both left a lot to be desired. The hot one was more like lukewarm, and barely cinnamon like stated on the menu.

Calamari was crispy so I was pleased there. Plátanos maduros weren’t ripe properly so they were hard to chew on. Pan de bono was good. We have some other drinks from the bar but they were either too strong or not enough liquor.

We had great company so we did the most we could with what we had.

Knew of this place for a few years but for some reason never went… and that’s my only regret!
The menu alone speaks volumes and the entire place exudes fun and festiveness.

The guac literally made right in front of you and to your liking and specs! The chorizo and soup were also amazing.

However, best of all was the service from Sodaya & Fernando! They absolutely rock and will take care of you like nobody else!
Bravo.

And don’t forget to check out their amazing bakery and coffee bar!

Love it..!!! The food was very good, cocktails were delicious and of course the live music was amazing to enjoy. Our waiter Carlos from Colombia gave in excellent service. Will recommend it and definitely will return when back in the area.

Fun spot for sure. Lively music and open and bright atmosphere. delicious coffee and espresso beverages. Got some pork belly and an almond croissant to go. Was somewhat disappointed as the croissant only had slivered almonds on top and no filling and the pork lacked salt. Coffee was tasty for sure. Other pastries and meals looked phenomenal so do want to give it another shot!

This is a great place to get some Columbian food! The dishes are huge, so we prefer to get apps and share. The Carne Asada Tostones are by far my favorite dish! But i also highly recommend the Chicharron and Empanadas. Drinks are delish as well.

I had only ever heard bad things about this place, but I decided to give it a try anyway and unfortunately, everyone was right.
On the positive side, the bartender was fantastic super helpful, friendly, and attentive, which I really appreciated. But when it came to the food, it just didn’t deliver. The tostones were extremely dry and clearly had been sitting out for a while. They were stale, hard to tear apart, and tough to bite into. The steak was okay but definitely nothing memorable, and the warm potato with guacamole was tasty but felt like a strange pairing that didn’t quite make sense on the plate. Overall, the service was the highlight, but the food really fell short. I wanted to like this place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.

Will scam you!!! Please check your receipt. The restaurant was decent and people seem nice the whole time, but when it came time to pay, they took my card and gave me back a receipt without itemization. I was about to tip, but realized that the amount was higher than it should be and realized that they snuck in a tip before the final total. When I escalated this to the manager, I was brushed off and they pretended like it was a mistake when it was obvious that they were trying to scam me. Why would they not include an itemized receipt? The waitress purposely crumpled it up and threw it away before I had to ask for it back. They ended up refunding tip and cash after I notified them, but they all pretended like it was a mistake not like the waitress was trying to scam customers. Although I love Columbia, I cannot support an establishment that makes these tactics okay. As you can see in the photo after paying, they only returned the receipt asking for a tip and did not return the itemized receipt which was crumpled up in the trash trashcan already. Please be careful when going here.
