Social Profile:

Nestled into the Fremont neighborhood, our urban-industrial two-story ‘fishing lodge’ was built with local and reclaimed resources by Dovetail Construction and Marian Built. Our tables were crafted from bark-beetle pine, and we even found a home for our favorite repurposed farm equipment! Our space includes the main dining area, a large modern patio and an upstairs loft and private dining room.

Bi-level eatery serving eco-friendly seafood from worldwide sources in airy, cabinlike quarters.

I could write a 3-page essay about how amazing this restaurant is, but here are the highlights of our dinner this past Saturday night. Drinks: great wine list with plenty of red, white, and sparkling options; creative craft cocktail options too, and a nice 10-yr port with dessert. Food: Outstanding! Oysters Brock-a-fella is a must, along with the tuna crudo; Chilean sea bass and Fijian yellowfin tuna were cooked to perfection with amazing complimentary flavors. And definitely get a side of the smashed potatoes. The salty sweet flavor of the RockCreek S’mores was heavenly and the ricotta apple beignets would compete well on Bourbon St.
But what topped everything was the service experience. Craig and Chelan were exceptional with their recommendations, and with being attentive while also giving us space to talk in between courses and enjoy the meal experience. Service from these two is on par with any 5-star establishment. If you haven’t been here, make it a point to go, and go soon! We’ll be back whenever we visit Seattle!

Amazing food and service. Note some of the dishes had dairy modifications for our dietary preferences. Portions are a bit smaller so plan accordingly. Great spot!

Absolutely delicious food, clearly prepared to highlight the incredible ingredients and more specifically the seafood. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, I look forward to coming back in summer when the garage door will be open to the outside.

This place should be full from the start of happy hour to close every day. Stop scrolling and go here.

Let’s start with the food: the smoked trout salad is a sleeper hit—bright, flavorful, smoky, and beautifully balanced. The calamari is crisp and tender (no rubbery bites here), and the clams are briny perfection. If baked oysters are your thing, theirs are must-orders—savory, satisfying, and exactly what you want alongside a strong cocktail.

The cocktails themselves are thoughtfully crafted and seriously drinkable—an excellent excuse to settle in and stay awhile.

RockCreek delivers on everything you want from a seafood happy hour and a high-end seafood dinner experience. Come for the food, stay for the drinks, and leave very, very happy.

Go drink and be merry!

The food was delicious. I ordered fresh oysters and the lamb ragout. The espresso martini they make here the super tasty. The foam on top is such a smooth texture. The wagyu short ribs are very tender and cooked perfectly.
The waiter took too long to come take my order before happy hour ended, so I flagged down (nicely) a super sweet waitress, and she took over no problem and got everything we needed before the happy hour ended. But overall, the service was attentive and friendly.
Atmosphere, I like the set up, it’s an open floor plan with a good seating arrangement. And the mood lighting works well for a date night, birthday gathering, or just a company dinner.
Update: I unknowingly ordered the same items again for my second time visiting Rock Creek. I did order an additional oysters shooter, the Bloody Vodka. It was good. I wish I ordered the oysters starter and shooter together. But I know for next time. The swordfish dish was recommended by my friend, though! & enjoyed the spicy margarita shooter as well. I also order the Burrata & tomato, it’s definitely different than others I’ve tried before. It’s good but something that I won’t be ordering again. The green olives and the orange sauce didn’t go very well for me personally. But I like being adventurous and trying new dishes here so no regrets.

I like the kind of restaurant where the food is good and the atmosphere is casual. This is that kind of restaurant. We ordered the bread, clams, cauliflower, Bloody Mary oyster shooter, Vesuvio pasta, and Whole Grecian Branzino. Honestly everything was DELICIOUS. Surprisingly, the pasta was the Star (a unique mix of flavors that worked so well). Nothing was overly heavy, everything was healthful. Cocktails and wine also excellent. For dessert we ordered the key lime pie and apple beignets….yum!! P.s. thank you *Caressa* for the excellent service!!

Classy place, interesting food, well made, attention to detail. A bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

Delicious seafood, but expensive! The smoked trout salad is excellent. We were a little disappointed with the Fijian tombo tartare—it’s not bad, just lacking a little something to take it over the top (maybe just some more salt?). For mains, the branzino is essential. The seafood stew is also really good. And the apple beignets are certainly decadent! Great to split with a few folks. Just be ready for a steep bill!

RockCreek is an absolute brunch gem! The atmosphere is warm, lively, and effortlessly cool. The kind of place that instantly puts you in a great mood the moment you walk in. The food? Outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. But what really sets RockCreek apart is the service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. If you’re looking for a brunch spot, RockCreek delivers! We’ll absolutely be back.

It’s not that the food here is bad, it’s just that it’s not worth it. The handful of dish’s that are delicious are incredibly small portioned and pricey, and many other dishes are average at best, fishy at worst. We used to be regulars here but after the 23% mandatory tip (that doesn’t even entirely go to staff) was implemented, we recognize this isn’t an establishment we want to continue to support. Service is phenomenal one night, and atrocious the next (the patio is especially risky for bad service), which again is no surprise since tips are mandated (even for a party of two at the bar). Lots of other great spots in the area, I’d skip this one.
