2nd time eating at Applebees within the new year and so far every entree was amazing! Drinks are a 10/10, yes service may be slow but you got to think about the amount of employees they may have. Each time I’ve gone was late at night, never had an issue, learn to be patient people; it comes to a point. Other than that, the menu is huge and gives you many options if you are looking for something different to eat every time. Hands down, not bad at all, I will continue to eat here and have some drinks w my girlies.

Another terrible Applebees. Bartender mediocre at best! Cold fries and not even toasted Grilled Cheese Burger! Bar top terribly dirty. No wipe down between guests. Sign says no smoking/vaping. Lady next to us at the bar vaping the whole time we were there. Won’t go back! Sat 12/27/25 430 pm.

In desperate need of management oversight. The receiving lady had no sense of urgency. Two families walked out because they were waiting too long. Our food took for ever! When we did get it, my wife needed to returned it as it was too spicy. Yet, there was no urgency on the reorder. It took just as long. When asked to speak to the manager, we waited until our server said he was very busy but would be with us. We waited and left without speaking to mgr. Never again.

DISGUSTING! I went here with my family and the restaurant was already in disarray, however, what really alarmed me was I went to the restroom and there was a homeless lady bathing in the sink. She was laughing to herself and smelled absolutely terrible! Well upon returning to my seat I informed my server that there was a lady in the restroom that seemed high on something and just using the facility to clean herself. Well I was told SHE WORKED HERE! I couldn’t believe it. So I waited, we ordered our food, and sure enough, this lady walked out of the restroom and straight to the kitchen! I grabbed my family and vowed not to return to this place so long as there are no hygiene practices or oversight of the employees! Who knows if that lady touched my food, but we weren’t taking the chance. BEWARE!

I was very disappointed in our dining experience. Our server was inattentive. He never came to the table to ask about drink refills. We had no drinks for our meal as it took 45 minutes to be served the burgers we ordered.
We had to track him down to get the bill. When asked for the bill, rather than hand my husband the bill as he was already at the register in the bar, our server walks across the restaurant and slaps the bill on the table.
The food was also disappointing. The prices are triple what they were a few years ago and the serving sizes are smaller.
The food didn’t taste very well. The tomato soup that came with the grilled cheese burger did not taste like tomato soup. It was a strange flavor and texture. It didn’t look appealing or appetizing.
The entire evening was a major let down. The black walls and ceiling give the feeling of being in a dreary, dark, bar not a family restaurant.
There are many other dining establishments in Corpus Christi. My recommendation is to visit one of them.

Our server was great! We came in late but he took great care of us thank you, Ryan. Must try the $5 tipsy reindeer it was delicious and strong. The bartender did it up right. Food was great! Tasted fresh, made with care and served quickly.

Horrible service, waiter Josh does not like the job as customer service skills are lacking very much. Took our order supposedly memorizing it and when brought out order no knives where present for steaks and states that he heard me say that my wife & I will be sharing when we clearly ordered the same. Been coming here because we enjoy the food but this is very disappointing. Waiter disappears for 10 min at a time. Something needs to change.

I was greeted after a few minutes of waiting at the podium. I didn’t think they had any staff working. I was sat down by a grumpy, unfriendly host. The table was sticky. It’s not a dirty sticky but an old sticky. I ordered a doctor pepper and the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. They brought my doctor pepper in a to go cup. The food had so much garlic on top of it i had to scrap it off. The onions and mushrooms had been fried to black tasteless mush. I did watch and see that they, in fact, had employess present, but they are not working. 1 guy was wandering around chewing on his fingernails. Handing food and stuff out. I lost my appetite at that point. I can see why the brand is fading out.

Worst experience at Applebees ever. The restaurant itself is very dark and felt humid. There are game machines in the bar area which is weird. Our waitress tried her best but was slow. We ordered a new menu item – fried pickle spears. Very disappointing – pickle crumbs was more like it. The food was terrible. 5 dollars for 5 small bait shrimp added to the terrible steak plate. My salad was drowning in salad dressing – inedible. The restroom needed a good cleaning. I will make the drive to Portland from now on.

It took awhile for us to get our order. I ordered the whiskey bacon burger no bun sub Impossible burger with crispy fries. The whiskey sauce was ok but had a strange after taste. The bacon was still a little wiggly. The fries were done well. My husband had the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic flavor on the chicken and shrimp was delicious. We usually always want more garlic, but this had just the right amount.
