Tonight at the steer barn I had the 8 oz filet, carrots, and mashed potatoes. My steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, like so good I could’ve hugged the chef! All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I would recommend this place to any friend or family member. You have to try the smoked old fashioned as well! And get dessert. You’ll dance in your seat. Thank you Andrew, Logan, Gina, Linda, Kris and the rest of the wonderful staff for being superb.

Old barn retrofitted as a steakhouse. Great cozy atmosphere for a date. They also have a few private rooms for large groups. The prime rib was very good. The short ribs were good as well. The arugula salad was ok. The chicken was really dry. The water tasted and smelled like mud. I enjoyed the Tim Collins drink. Overall we would come back again and try some other options.

This restaurant has been here for decades. It’s inside a refurbished old barn. Atmosphere is very cozy. Our server Wyatt did an outstanding job. My wife and I took our youngest daughter for her birthday. This was the second time for my wife and I, first time was 12 years ago. The bread they bring is good, Italian seasoned, and hearty. They bring water with lemon which is very old school. Ordered the crab stuffed mushroom caps, only 2 were in the dish, $15. Wife ordered ribeye with side salad and loaded baked potato, $45. Daughter ordered surf n turf, ribeye, fried shrimp, loaded baked potato, and side salad, $60. I ordered Mahi Mahi with hash browns and grilled asparagus, $28. We took 2 pieces of cake to go, $8 each. The food was good but the price for the portion size was very high. Spent $186 for just 3 people.

50-minute drive to try this place well worth the drive. Hostess was friendly and seated promptly. Sever was just as friendly and did a great job. The bread basket was different but really good. Split french onion soup for appetizer, and it was delicious. The steak was outstanding. It’s probably the thickest steak I have ever had and cooked to perfection. The coffee cake and cheesecake were great. The interior structure was a real plus.

For people who don’t eat steak, you have 3 options. Alfredo seasoned with tons of garlic ( I got this and I don’t recommend unless you love tone of garlic) salad , or a pork chop with peach sauce. Not a lot of choices.

I was able to go for the first time this week and it was better than expected! I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t get a Bone-In Steak as they only serve those on Friday and Saturday but the One that I ordered was so good! I seriously don’t think I’ve ever had a better steak…. 10 out of 10 for sure and I’ll be going back very soon!

One of the guys wanted to us to try the Steer Barn and we found ourselves there. Overall it was a great experience so I wouldn’t say no to another visit. I chose the catfish which was awesome with the included fries. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere. Our team was seated in a corner table that provided a great view of the restored barn. So why didn’t I give them five stars? I thought the pricing was high but I get it. My coworkers said their burgers were just ok.

Had dinner with the family tonight and it was delicious! Been coming here since I was a baby and I’m now 30. I had the scallops, which were swimming in butter and lemon and were perfect. Along side was a loaded baked potato and a side salad with the house dressing. Everything was delicious. My husband had a flat iron steak with Asparagus and the brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were a little too chared and there were more leaves than whole Brussels but the asparagus was delicious.
My relish Susan was the carrot salad, cottage cheese and peas and peanuts salad and it was the best! The staff was very efficient and friendly! Very happy with dinner!

Wonderful servers, great food. The menu has changed a lot from the older pics here. My medium rare ribeye, although charred hard on the bottom side (nice cover try, chef) was delicious, tender, and full of flavor. I had a raspberry Bellini cocktail that was perfect and more sweet tea than I care to share. Good experience.

The steaks were delicious. The service was good. My real complaint would be the atmosphere, I realize it is a barn which is very cool, but the music they play is horrible!! Country music is fine, but this music was most from the late 60’s early 70’s . I think if you had music that was a little newer, you may have more customers on a Friday night.
