My visit to Panera in Bel Air festival was a mixed experience. Firstly, the door is quite heavy and not elderly-friendly. I had to assist an older person to open it, and even I found it cumbersome.
Once inside, the customer service was commendable. I was greeted at the counter by friendly and pleasant staff. Although there was a bit of a wait, it wasn’t too bad. However, I wouldn’t recommend visiting during a half-hour work lunch break due to the waiting time.
I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado sandwich, and it was really good. The interior of the place is vibrant and inviting, with plenty of seating available. The restrooms were clean, which is always a plus.
Would I go back? Possibly.

Absolutely horrible manager at this store today. I ordered online, got a text said it was ready. I then went into the store and it was not on the rapid pickup shelf. The manager was behind the counter prepping a a couple orders to go on the shelf so I asked him if he had one for me (my name). He proceeded to do the other orders first before checking. I’m the ONLY customer in the store but he chose to put me last – putting all the other orders in their bags or scanning them or something. I told him – I’m standing here and everyone else isnt here yet. – all I got back was some philosophical bs – “patience is a virtue”. I can’t understand the mind of someone who is in customer service, has a customer right in front of them, and chooses to cater to others who are not even in the store yet. This guy needs a job that is not customer facing. Worthless.

Panera is pretty great. Why the 2 star review? I placed an online order today and I noticed something. A small Mac n cheese is $9, a kids is $7. But after logging in and selecting my store location the kids menu completely disappeared online. So I decided to order this one item in person. At the register they said a small is $6! Which now I have to think, what other items are they jacking the prices up online? It’s not like I ordered delivery, it was carry out! If I can’t trust you, you don’t get my business. I honestly would’ve given a 1 star but it is a good place otherwise. Just be careful with online price gouging!

Can’t beat the quality food for the price. Love the mobile order with rapid pick up option and the rewards program. The parking lot can be a bit busy so choose your spot with your exit in mind during busier times of day.

For how busy this location gets, the staff definitely keep up ans know what they are doing. Servcie was quick and our food was done fairly quickly as well. My turkey avocado blt was delicious, the soft bread.. mmm! Hubby really enjoyed hisGreen goddess cobb salad. It was a nice refreshing lunch. There are plenty of tables to sit at and it clean.

Today when I walked into Panera it was quiet, the ladies took my order and I engaged in conversation with them regarding a TV show they were speaking about. They were so friendly, we shared a few laughs and a few details about the show. My bagel was perfect this time. I ordered the cinnamon crunch bagel and sometimes it burns as it’s coming through their toaster but this particular morning, it didn’t. I forgot to mention my bagel was heart shaped. This is the second time I’ve had an heart shape bagel from Panera. Overall, great experience!

Today my husband ordered and picked food from this location. First half sandwich was completely missing. What’s worse there was dried up fly in the salad. We buy from this located once or twice a month and usually it’s good but fly in a food it’s not cool at all
