Pretty nice place to eat! Decent food, (it only had the plain pancakes, strawberry crepes & bacon.) For a great price! For me and my friend to eat it was pretty affordable. Wait & staff were very nice, it was very simple and easygoing. Nice atmosphere. Would go again if I was close by, simply cuz its good and easy!

First time visit for a breakfast stop, we were seated really fast, the menu was already on the table. Menu really hard to read and could be cleaned up a little so that you can see the breakfast items and something different for the lunch/dinner but, it was not a big deal, I just asked if they had a ‘Biscuit and gravy’ and got that good over on the lunch area of things. The fried potatoes came out cold but the biscuit and gravy was good. The other plate came came 2x2x2x2 but if you don’t want one of those 2’s. You still cannot substitute it out. Those potatoes also came out cold as well. Other than that things were okay. Friendly staff but the waitress only dropped by the table once to do off catchup and then the bill. Interesting place to visit.

Good food very old school atmosphere. I cannot recommend the Turkey sausages. They’re not very good. They claim to be the first. This place is not very busy around 1600

This place has great food and is a fun place to have breakfast. Just make sure you reserve your spot ahead of time as there is almost always a wait. The tropical syrup is great!

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon around 4:30pm. It wasn’t busy, and I was attended to very graciously. Ordered the Bacon cheeseburger with steamed vegetables. Everything was delicious! The servers are very nice and the restroom was tidy. I’ll be sure to return for their locally famous pancakes. Enjoy your next visit here!

The food was tasty. Reasonable prices. The poor waitress was working the whole restaurant by herself. The woman that was working to register helped very little and was kind of sassy with me when I first walked in. I understand you’re busy but I’m there to support your business. Many customers got the wrong checks. My son ordered a breakfast which came with pancakes, and his pancakes didn’t come till after we were done eating. Kind of says something when pancakes is in your restaurant name. I would have rated the service much higher but I believe management needs to have more people on staff so that people get quality service. I’m sure it’s different at breakfast they have more on staff.

I don’t understand why anyone eats at this place. The appearance is very dated and worn. Nasty old carpet in the dining area. It’s like everything there is from many decades ago when this place was a Shoney’s. When I was there the service was okay. The cheese omelet was not good. The cheese in it was some kind of funky processed cheese with a strange texture/consistency and taste. I don’t recommend this place.

The food is great. The server pretty well forgot about me after she collected my empty plate. Refilling my water should have still been a possibility for her. She went from a 10 dollar tip down to a 5 dollar tip. Besides that she was pleasant and got our orders correct.

My only criticism is the floor is filthy. I got there at 4 pm on day before Thanksgiving and there was nobody there. Staff was sitting around not doing anything. There’s no reason to have that much debris on the floor when there’s nothing else going on.

I’ll come back again.

It was OK. Not that the food was bad, the menu just wasn’t very flexible. I’m not eating carbs and every meal comes with pancakes or biscuits. I tried to sub items but ended up paying more to do so. Our server was super friendly, just busy. Atmosphere was nice, but there’s too many tables. It felt slightly cramped.

First time here and I won’t come back unfortunately. The waitress was down right rude at times. Never once offered to refill anyone’s tiny cup of water. Worse was when I asked for my burger with nothing but the pickles, she acted put off. I then asked if she knew if the fries were gluten free ( I have celiac) she responded with well they should be, they’re potatoes. I said depending on what they’re coated in and fried in they can definitely have gluten. Could you please ask. Very rude, no response at all, snd just walks off. When the food comes out she never addressed my concerns, so when she stopped away I asked the guy that was serving the coffee if he could possibly check to make sure they were indeed gluten free..his response was the same, they should be. She comes back over, and hears me asking him and snootily says again they should be as they’re “just potatoes”
Celiac is pretty prevalent these days, food places need to educate themselves, and be aware of what food is gf. And definitely don’t act rude or indifferent about it. I can promise you, I dislike being gluten and dairy free alot more than you having to go ask a simple question in the kitchen to make sure something is safe for me to eat. I normally tip really well, but c’mon try being polite, friendly, and for pete’s sake ask folks if they’d like their water refilled. These cups were itty bitty, and not once did she offer to refill them. Someone else at my table gave me theirs, and no one got a refill once. Yet she had time to be walking around on her phone. Extremely disappointed, and hoping I didn’t just get gluten because they couldn’t answer a simple question. Do better!
