I had a really uncomfortable experience at Del Taco today. I accidentally ordered an extra drink and simply asked if I could get the price difference back. The employee helping me, who was a tall, light-skinned older Black man with glasses, immediately became irritated and made it very obvious that he was annoyed he had to correct the order.
He even said out loud that it was “extra work” and had a noticeable attitude the entire time. When he gave me the refund, he didn’t hand the money to me — he just dropped it on the counter. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional.
Mistakes happen and I was polite about it. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — just the difference for something I didn’t mean to order. Customer service should never make someone feel like they’re a burden for asking for help.
I hope management addresses this because it definitely made the experience unpleasant.

️Brittany and the manager greeted us upon entry…Brittany was very helpful plus knew her menu/specials. Manger was cool guy also…he prepared our hot fresh food with smiles. The drinks are cold and crisp. Up size for 1$ and don’t forget to scan for rewards.

I travel quite a bit for work and every time I have stopped in at this Del Taco Not only has the food been great but the attitude of everyone working has been very welcoming and happy. No matter how busy they are they always try to make you feel like you are welcome. I grew up in the southeast and we didn’t have any Del Taco restaurants so I am glad they are branching out more to that area also. It’s hard to beat a staple like a crunchy taco with meat, lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream and taco sauce and they do a great job. I always make sure to thank the staff for a great job. Every time I am in Oklahoma City I always make time for a 3 pack at the Reno Avenue location. Thank you guys! ✌️♥️

I am a disabled veteran and although I live right down the street I have to order from Uber Eats. I love Del Taco.
The last FOUR times I have ordered I have been either shorted $5-$8 in food or gotten wrong items.
I got a partial refund from Uber once but you guys constantly screwing up and me continuing to order from you is suspect if I keep ordering from your u so Uber will do nothing for me. I can’t even walk down the stairs let alone come to you and babysit you. Remember me on Veterans Day
