I feel like a lot of the lower rated reviews that are based off of service are from people who came in during holidays or weekends!
But as long as you plan accordingly and don’t burden the staff with too many additional requests I think you’ll find the service is great!
I love the menu, especially since it has a savory sweet theme what with all of the chocolate!

The cheese moons were really unique and delicious! Here is the snippet from my cheese stick chart:
“ The Chocolatier at Hershey Park- 7.5/10 The cheese was really good and naturally I loved how ample it was although this did end up messing with the ratio a bit! I was really surprised with how much I liked the marinara sauce! Might skip on the ranch next time”

It was expensive, but my boyfriend and I still really enjoyed ourselves. Too expensive to come more than once every other year or so, though. But I suspect at some point we’ll return. We wanted to try the desserts. I loved the decor and the history plaques, and the Ferris Wheel Sampler is a fantastic idea!! Though we wished for a few other options on it. The coaster layout chandeliers (featuring Wildcat, The Comet, Candimonium) were so freaking neat, too! A beautiful belated Valentine’s meal for us. Thank you!

PS- I had made a reservation but found it wasn’t needed as we came at 4pm on a Wednesday. But if you’re visiting on a weekend or a day the amusement park is open, I highly suggest making a reservation.

Our waitress Sam was amazing and personable! She knew the menu and was able to make recommendations for our family. We had to eat dinner quickly to get back to our activities at Chocolate World. We really appreciate her and creating a great experience for our trip. (@Sam, if you’re reading this, just know we made it on time! You’re the best!)

We ordered Chocolatetown Burgers and the kids got chicken fingers and mac and cheese. The food was okay and you could tell the fries were made in batches because they were cold compared to our meals. The mac and cheese for our youngest was a perfect temperature though. I wish we had time to try some of the actual dinner meals because we saw them come out at other tables and they looked good. The kids portions are huge and feed our teens, with leftovers. Which I was thankful for since the prices were so high.

I recommend making reservations if this is where you plan to eat while you visit Chocolate World at Christmas time. I’m glad we did so WEEKS in advance because it was so busy they weren’t even able to accommodate walk ins.

our waiter, dakota was extremely attentive and kind. great customer service, explained everything well. milkshakes were awesome and the food was the same. the chocolatier has unique hershey flavors added to most of their dishes, setting it apart from other restaurants.

I came here for lunch and the wait was around five minutes. It was not bad at all. The service wasn’t really good. I saw my waitress, maybe five times. She was a nice person, but I feel like maybe she was distracted. We asked for water with lemon and we never got the lemons. We thought they would be brought by eventually, but they weren’t so we didn’t follow up. When my sister got her wings, she asked for ranch and the ranch did not come out. She had to ask the waitress for that. We got the margarita flatbread and it was absolutely amazing. The chocolate edition was faint, but great. My sister got the hot honey wings and they are really great as well. They were not too spicy. My husband got the Reese’s peanut butter latte and he really liked it.

Tried out the Chocolatier, truth be told based on pictures and ads we expected a higher end venue. Customer service was fantastic, food was good but the chicken was dry. Risotto was perfect. Wife said the Alfredo was good sauce a little loose. Chicken again dry..
Might try again for the burger menu.

Great atmosphere and great food. We enjoyed the chocolate twist to the food we ordered and their “special” menu options. The food is slightly expensive but worth it as an occasional treat!

Went in for lunch on Saturday, made a reservation, service was great, cocktails were delicious, and food was fresh and tasty. Loved the atmosphere and theming overall. Would definitely return!

Our recent visit was disappointing due to a lack of transparency and poor service. Despite waiting for a table, we were never notified at check-in that the kitchen was facing significant shortages.

Key Issues:
* Limited Availability: A large portion of the menu was unavailable, and we weren’t offered discounts when forced to replace premium sides with fries and no vegetable options.
* Service Lapses: Our appetizer never arrived, and the server offered no explanation or follow-up.
* Subpar Presentation: The “Martini Flight” was served in standard rocks glasses rather than the signature mini-martini glasses shown in advertisements and other reviews, which took away from the experience.
* Logistics: Better signage or instructions for parking are desperately needed for guests.

Overall, the experience didn’t match the price point, brand reputation, or even past experiences. We hope that this was an isolated negative experience and that some of these issues will be addressed the next time we visit.
