Don’t believe the others that complain about service or non English speaking workers (Cafe Rio is a MEXICAN restaurant). Adolfo is the best and his workers are always smiling and speak English to me with a flair from Mexico. Service is top notch even when they are busy!

This is the best Cafe Rio location! The food is always top notch and it’s brought me back almost everyday. I also use their catering services for business purposes and they always make sure I have everything in need and my guests enjoy it every time. The manager Adolfo is the best there is! He cares very much about the operations and personally cares about all his guests. Can’t thank them enough!

This is my fave place to grab lunch during work. Adolfo is the nicest, as well as the rest of the staff! They often bring around lil dessert samples for free. Food is great. They are always really busy when we come in but line still goes fast. Thanks for being so great!

I usually drive 3x the distance for Costa Vida. The food was cold, cheese unmelted even after running it through the heater twice. Positive note: Nino Quesadillas are only .99 cents, which is a bargain.

Food is always great, but this time I wanted to shout out the staff. I gather they had just been through a big rush on Friday night, and I noticed only one working terminal. The manager (never got his name) was going up and down the line thanking his staff and praising them for staying on top of everything. That speaks volumes about a manager, and this location has a good one. Kudos to this store for having a quality manager and quality staff to handle a Friday night rush with absolute class!

Wife and I usually don’t get café Rio but today we wanted to try something different so we ordered online and went over to pick it up. Everything went well. It was ready, our drinks were ready, napkins in the bag. It looks solid but when we got home, we realize that a few things were off. We didn’t get our side of rice. Our guac had non-melted cheese on it, didn’t know we had to melt the cheese ourselves so that’s kinda weird. It just off :/

I should have checked the reviews before I stopped by this location. Absolutely horrible.
The young girl taking our order could hardly speak any English. And remember at this location extra meat means regular meat and regular meat means they barely put anything on. These folks were trained really well on keeping their costs down from corporate or they’re just clueless on how to make customers happy. Not friendly, poor customer service and skimpy portions.
If you’re going to continue raising prices (even though beans and rice cost very little), then you ought to raise your quality and level of service. Or is that a result of “inflation” too? You’re lucky you have brand recognition, this location would fail in a week otherwise.
I bought 8 meals for $115, seriously should have bought the ingredients myself and made a 10x better meal for everyone.
So sad, this use to be such a value and taste so much better back before they put profits over people.

We came in 20 minutes to closing, they were mopping the floor they were getting ready to shut down and still all the food look good and fresh and I can even hear them calling to make more food.
The service was absolutely outstanding, they understood that we were going to reheat our food and all the cold items needed to be in cups and before we even really explained they already had it package correctly.
The people that took our money super friendly, asked how we were doing we had a little conversation about where we lived and how we had to drive all the way back to the other side of the mountains across the valley. He was very sincere in telling us to be safe and that was a far drive. Their food’s pretty much always good no matter which one you go to but it’s about the people and these people rock!

Before ordering my enchiladas, I asked if they had corn tortillas because of a gluten allergy, they confirmed that they DID have corn tortillas. I ordered the enchiladas and pulled up to the window to pay and Verified that they would be corn tortillas and not flour. the lady Asked the people making the food if they were going to be corn tortillas and while she was waiting for an answer, she took my payment. Only to find out that they were out of corn tortillas. I told them That I needed to cancel the order, as we have a gluten allergy. Instead of giving me a full refund and recharging me for the other meals That I purchased, They told me that The enchilada meal was voided, and the difference will be sent back to my bank. Which never did happen until I reached out to customer support TWICE. The lady who was helping me was very rude and did not even apologize. I will never be going back here. The customer service is 0/10.

They closed at 9 and we had no idea so we walked in and immediately they look at us and say nothing, then we proceeded to walking up to the counter and wait because every other store said they were still open except this one. We wait for a good few minutes and the workers just stare at us occasionally and say nothing, they smile mockingly and still say nothing. If they had let us know that they were closed or anything we would have left at the beginning but they didn’t even say anything to us and we were just embarrassed standing there. We stayed for 5 minutes before leaving and it was just not a good experience at all. I understand how it can be like frustrating when people come in right before closing or after but we genuinely had no idea and they just mocked us essentially without even communicating that they were closed?
