This place is non-negotiable. The food is always good, genuinely consistent every single visit. My go-to is the sweet potato encrusted fish. You get to choose the fish, and it varies depending on what’s fresh and available that day, which makes it even better. It’s perfectly cooked every time, with that sweet, crispy crust. I order it again and again and it never disappoints. Whenever we’re in town, we make it a point to come here sometimes more than once in the same day, that’s how good it is. If you’re in the area, this place is an absolute MUST.

Love this local spot! Food is AMAZING! I had the sweet potato crusted avocado and my boyfriend had their short rib and brisket burger. Good size portions and great prices. Surprising amount of seating they have two rooms with lots of tables. Great service too!

If you love fresh seafood, unique flavour combos and a lively atmosphere this place is a must visit! The coconut shrimp is a show stopper. We had that, the okra, calamari & sweet potato crusted grouper. Each dish had its own unique flavours and was super fresh, and the portions were very generous.

Food Shack is a true Jupiter staple. This place always hits, and it’s personally nostalgic for me. Growing up, I remember eating here with my family after surf camp back long before they expanded into the adjacent building.
Recently I took my grandmother in for a late lunch and, as always, it was excellent.
From their famous sweet potato–crusted fish and coconut rice to the delicious tuna basil roll, we love it all. And you can’t forget the incredible sambal sauce and key lime garlic dressing, both are absolute standouts.
Authentic, local, and consistently excellent. It’s also worth mentioning how much they support our local fishermen.
Much respect to the Lil Moir’s family and their entire team. From the way they treat their customers & staff to the quality of their food, they’ve set the standard for what a great local restaurant should be. It’s no surprise they’ve continued to grow.
Very excited for the new Sweet Fish restaurant to open, we’ll definitely be there!

Pertaining to the menu. The men and you literally changes every day, snd sometimes more than once per day if they run out of ingredients. I think the manager said they come up with a menu either the night before, or the morning of with just random ingredients that all the chefs get together and make up a menu. So whatever you have today, it’s likely you’ll never have that same thing again. Maybe some variation of it, but not identical.

This is one of our go to places in the area. The fish changes every day and you know it is fresh. Once you pick your fish you then pick how you want it prepared from their daily options. The sweet potato is one of our favorites. Always leave room for desert also, their bread pudding is incredible. They don’t take reservations so you may have to wait if you come later in the evening. It is well worth a wait.

My experience with shack is really good went there with friends, ordered a cocktail tequila based margarita was good, appetizer coconut shrimps super tasty, sweet potato fish was really very very good and last but not the least desert raspberry lime pie

The Food shack actually looks like a Shack so mission accomplished 1 Star. But the seriously creative menu is cooked perfectly with fresh quality ingredients and excellent presentation. I’ve eaten here before and it never disappoints great seafood in wild combinations and unexpected flavors. The service is friendly and there when you need them. The prices are step but sit down Sally you are getting fresh quality food in large portions it’s worth every penny. I’m always surprised the haughty taughty Jupiter and Palm Beach Garden crowds don’t flood the place. Much healthier than the junk food at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

Absolutely fantastic visit & will certainly be returning! The drinks & food were delicious (highly recommend the Indoroni) & our server Krista H. was attentive and friendly. We were very impressed with everything! Fully intend to check out Little Moir’s Leftovers sometime too as I’ve heard the service & food is just as great.
