There are many options on the menu, including vegan and gluten free options.
Service was good. Wait staff took time to explain what certain things were.
It was a nice and relaxing atmosphere too.

First things first: Abby was a wonderful, attentive, and friendly server! Service was so welcoming and she really went above and beyond for us during our visit, so I wanted to take a moment to highlight her specifically!

Food: We ordered the queso blanco, birria tacos and the carne asada tacos, and mexican smores. From appetizer to dessert, everything tasted amazing! I am a huge fan of the gluten-free options, as someone who has hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Definitely recommend—I am so grateful for restaurants like BelAir Cantina where even someone with dietary restrictions like mine can enjoy such delicious food!

Service: Again, just amazing! We came during their busiest time for dinner. Despite a bit of a wait, I never felt rushed or like I wasn’t being taken care of. We will definitely be back!

Atmosphere: This is just me, but I loved the music that was playing, very nostalgic! There is a lovely view of town square, and my fiancée and I were able to sit down and relax, feeling super cozy!

Because of the wait times we experienced, our dessert was compensated for. I was not expecting this at all. I really cannot wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

Update 6/25/25:
We are quickly becoming regulars here!
Just wanted to add that I recommend trying their Margarita Flights, the sampler sizes are great!

The worst tacos I have ever had.
The shredded chicken was extremely over cooked and could not even chew it.
Rice and beans are bland.
The hot taco I ordered was not hot at all. No hot sauce to be had.

Service was good, place was clean.

Next time im locating the nearest taco truck for some real tacos.

Delicious margaritas and chips/salsa. Tried 3 different tacos: brisket, shrimp and portabella mushroom. The vegetarian one was hands down the best tasting.

Pretty good place to hangout and grab food. I’ve taken a few guests here and they all enjoyed the food. Lots of taco varieties. I liked the Korean Beef one. Has it’s own flavors and not like the Street tacos. Depending on what you’re looking for it may be a good or bad thing.

Best staff that I’ve encountered at a Belair Cantina in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area. There’s never a time that I don’t get to talk with the bartender and have a great time, and the host is always so personable with all of the guests that come in. Love this place!

Helena was literally the best server !! Her customer service is outstanding. She was our server and served another big 14 top at the same time and still managed to stay on top of everything our table of 4 needed. But what’s even better is that she let us know of the other large table and thought ahead for things that we needed. Water,- brought a pitcher, chips – brought 2 baskets. The list goes on. You don’t get service like this anymore !! Thank you. We will be back only because of her !!

Kind of blown away. The food was actively not good. We all ordered different tacos, birria being the most passable but still bland, and I could not eat my shrimp taco. It was like they bought cooked frozen shrimp and passively thawed it in the sink. It was wet, it had that aftertaste, and largely unseasoned. The carne asada taco has a Large piece of connective tissue in it. The meat portions are honestly pretty big, so much so that it isn’t a taco you can close anymore. So that might be a good point if that’s something you’re going for. The rice tastes like….. Uncle Ben’s maybe? But store brand. There was not an item on our plates we really enjoyed.

On the side of service, I think the hostess may have served us or someone new. I don’t really care if they know the menu or anything, so that wasn’t a problem. Surface polite, which is fine, but almost spilled birria ‘consomme’ on my partner and Did spill it all over his plate and tacos. Soggy tacos. I think she ignored that it happened in hopes we didn’t notice? It was a little weird but didn’t affect the tip.

I don’t write many bad reviews but….man.

Dear owner, I have been your loyal customer for quite a few years, everything started when I used to live close to the water location. Now I’m in the South Milwaukee are and I have been visiting the Oak creek location for few years now, but I’m sad. My last visit was last night, food was excellent as always but service a management are not the same. I’m very familiar with restaurants since my sister owns a small place and I use to help her. Service need some improvement, now days is not easy to find great employees, but you can make them but with the perfect leader. Management is the most important key but having careless managers who only sit in the office or bar or a table and leave employees run the place is not way to go. I ask my server who the manager was and they said that “the lady sitting at the bar”. In my entire time I spend in your restaurant for my dinner she never gets up from that chair. Just ask yourself How a manager runs a place just sitting at the bar? I will continue visiting because I love your guacamole and chips but I just wanted to share some feedback since I’ve seen lots of great places closing and I don’t want this happen to yo. Thank you
