We had a fantastic meal and great service last night for New Years Eve. The restaurant was packed but folks were seated quickly. We were seated right on time and loved the booth we were seated in. Our waiter Zach was also fantastic. The food was delicious and comes out quickly. We enjoyed our oysters immensely. I ordered the Chilean bass which was the special of the night and I’m glad I did, also fantastic. My other half got the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious too. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere , dinner, our waiter and the staff. Happy New Year!

Stopped in for an early lunch for 3 at 3:45pm on a Saturday, had booked a reservation about 2 hours ahead of time. Really surprised at how packed the place was. Parking lot was mostly full.

We were promptly seated, and the waitress came by and got us water and drinks order right away. Menu has a large variety of options, everything from pizza, to steaks, to pasta, and even fresh raw seafood like oysters and clams.

Waitress was very friendly. They have fresh unsweetened ice tea, as well as raspberry ice team. For a starter we had the calamari, the remoulard sauce it came with was very good. The calamari pieces were relative small, but perfectly cooked, also some onions tossed in, overall tasted good.

The main dished come with a side salad, with decent selection of dressing, their blue cheese dressing was house made and excellent.

For main dishes we had the Everything Spice Seared Tuna which has a fermented chili and Wasabi drizzle and riced cauliflower. It was well prepared, light and fresh.

We also had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, and the Rigatoni A’la Vidka. The Ravioli was very flavorful, lots of mushroom. The Rigatoni was very large portion and also good.

Overall we had a very good meal, with friendly service, and it was surprisingly fast, only a little bit longer than an hour.

I’d recommend going if you have never been, plan in advance as they were very packed and steady stream of folks being seated.

From beginning to end I was handled with such care. I have severe nut and seafood allergy and on top of that I’m a picky eater. Anna the waitress was very accommodating, pleasant, patient and knew the menu very well. She also is quite funny in an absolute professional manner. She even was able to get me out my comfort zone. I tried the butternut squash soup and let me tell you it will now be a staple upon my return. We Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I’m so upset I forgot to take photos but it was mostly because everything was so delicious and i was so hungry!!! We had Pascual as our server and he was AMAZING! He gave us great recommendations for cocktails and they did not disappoint! We also had the calamari and mozzarella appetizers which were delicious! For entrees my husband ordered the scallops and lobster risotto. He loved it! I ordered the ribeye with Yukon potatoes and Brussels which was excellent! For dessert we had the strawberry cake as recommended and it was delightful. We can’t wait to come back and try some other menu items and ask for the best server Pascual of course!

It was my first time here but we were treated like regulars. Our server Nick provided us with an amazing experience, from start to finish. I came here on a Friday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday, our reservation was for 730pm for a party of ten. Nick was patient and understanding when members of the party arrived late. Drinks and appetizers came out hot and fresh, we had the fried calamari, the wings, and the crispy risotto fritters. Everything was delicious but the calamari took the gold; well seasoned, crispy and not overcooked. For my main I had the chicken parm, the chicken was tender and juice. I heard great things about the salmon and the ribeye. They were a hit amongst members of my party. Nick was very attentive throughout our dinning experience checking in with us to make sure we were pleased with our dishes and drinks. Nick was kind enough to help us cut a cake for our friend and provide us with plated slices. At no extra charge. Over all I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we came all the way from CT and it was worth the drive.

Been to Cal’s a few times and always had a good experience from the service to the food. The restaurant is busy and alive during peak week operations so a reservation is beneficial. The menu has many great options and maybe hard to select your choice because everything sounds great. The Cracked Burrata and Calamari Fritti were some stars on their appetizer options. Delicious, clean and properly seasoned plates to start your meal. Had several pizzas and they were all great and assembled and cooked with precision. The Fisherman’s Platter, Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich are some notable dishes that were great. What really struck me from someone who is a Chef and eats out at different establishments is that Cals’s knows how to properly season and plate their food. All in all this place delivers across the board for day or night out to eat.

I did not sit in the restaurant, I did a pickup order so I can’t judge the service or the atmosphere. The food was excellent though, they just didn’t have any bread and that’s mandatory for a pasta dish. Not sure if I missed it when I was ordering but honestly I have no other complaint. Decent pickup time and a hot plentiful delicious meal. I’d definitely order from them again. They were packed so I’m assuming people enjoy going there. I’m not from the area, just working here for a bit and decided to try something new. I wasn’t disappointed.

Everything was great, server included. We tried 3 apps, 3 entrees and 2 desserts, mocktails and mostly everything had “no notes” ☺️ the only feedback was the sticky ribs, while delicious, they were oddly cool/cold! But we still ate them as the flavors were great — they would’ve been 10x better warm, though. Overall a wonderful experience. We actually loved the smaller portions. Perfect sizes.

We visited Cal’s Restaurant on Sunday July 20th to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was absolutely worth the trip from the southern part of Connecticut!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Philip, our waiter, went above and beyond! his service was outstanding and truly made the evening extra special. Friendly, professional, and super attentive !he’s a gem!

We’ve been to Abigail’s Restaurant before and loved it, so when we saw Cal’s was affiliated, we had to check it out. It did not disappoint.

Even though we somehow got full way too fast (and we hadn’t eaten since around 1 PM!), we still made sure to taste everything. My husband had the salmon, and I ordered the top sirloin steak, medium rare (closer to rare)and both dishes were phenomenally done. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious.

The restaurant was very busy, so make a reservation if you’re planning to go. The staff, the food, the atmosphere.it was all amazing. Thank you to Cal’s for making my husband’s birthday so memorable!

I forgot to mention it was Pre fixee dinner $27 PP I also love how they had a overflow parking because it was packed. The parking is between the golf and package.place
