I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this experience fell well below expectations after really looking forward to dining here.
When we got there we were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter (a robust man with multi colored hair and suspenders) “waited”on us, after taking our order that was the last we saw of him until the check came. We needed drink refills and knives for our food. We waited an excessive amount of time to be acknowledged by anyone, and it just didn’t happen. No one even asked how our food was. However we did see our waiter assisting a few other tables and taking shots at the bar.
When he finally made his way to us he still didn’t bother to ask how everything was and I had to get a to go box from someone else because he never came back with it.
Food was great, service not so much.

We were in Colorado Springs for a few days and as we wrapped up our Saturday we decided to try a local restaurant that sounded good. We love Greek food, so Jake and Telly’s sounded really good. We were walk-ins during prime dinner hour on a Saturday night, but got a table for two. Our greeter, the manager, and our server were all very friendly. The food was all excellent, as were the Greek wines we tried. Portion size is very generous, so we were too stuffed to eat dessert, but no doubt it would have been as excellent as the rest of the food. The included shot of Ouzo toast with the waiter as you pay your bill capped off a fun first visit here. Highly recommended!
One note: This is a hopping place, with large groups gathering for special occasions as part of the mix, in addition to the thumping Greek traditional/pop music in the background. A little on the loud side, but makes for a fun atmosphere nonetheless.

I moved to Colorado not long ago and was disappointed in the Greek restaurants I had tried until I found this gem! The gyros here are DELICIOUS and their roasted potatoes and mashed potatoes are truly tasty! I’ve had the pork loin, chicken, and gyro meat gyros and they were all really good. My favorite was the pork loin! The baklava is a good size and it’s sooo good! Can’t wait to try more things at this restaurant. Highly recommend!

The servers were amazing. The glasses never were empty. The food took a while to come out even though the restaurant was went all that busy. There were multiple wine tastings going on so that could be why. In fact, it almost seemed like the wine tasting was their main attraction. We had the eggplant burger and meatball sandwich. They were both good. The meatballs had some unique taste… almost gamey. Side potatoes were pretty awful, unfortunately. They were hard and off putting.

Pricey, for sure, but the food is delicious. The salmon and steak were both a bit overcooked, however. Great ambiance and wonderful patio dining overlooking the street. Service was top notch. I can not remember what it is called, but the flaming shrimp and cheese appetizer was fantastic!

I don’t wanted to like this food more! The octopus was tender, but not seasoned enough with oregano, same with Greek salad. Dolmathes were 3 big ones that could be easily shared by 4 if cut in half for an app. The sauce was not the authentic egg/lemon sauce, but a very heavy cream basil sauce. Very rich! Tried the lamb the braised lamb for entee. Lamb shank was good, but not braised in tomato sauce but just some thick spaghetti type sauce added on top, which I thought ruined the taste.. overall, loved the atmosphere and Nichole was great and passionate about her job. Would give it another shot if I lived here! Wanted to try their moussaka, but didn’t have that evening.
