The service was immaculate. Our server, Ollie, was very personable and made the experience so memorable. The mushroom ramen was hands down the most delicious ramen Ive ever had. The classic ramen was also very very tasty. Both were still very good after reheating which impressed us greatly. The food, atmosphere and service exceeded our expectations. We will absolutely come back when were in town!

They are very good about allergies! We had a fish and nut allergy on our ticket and they were proactive in asking about allergies. We felt comfortable eating our food and everything we ordered was delicious. I recommend getting buns to split and then your own individual ramens.

This place will blow your mind no matter what you get. I seriously cannot recommend the food and service more enough. The ramen is a given as it’s definitely some of the best ramen you can get in the twin cities, although the bar isn’t very high unfortunately. What really surprised me was how good the rest of their entrees were. The fried rice alone is pretty much as good as it gets. If you’re in the mood for some of the best Asian food Minneapolis has to offer you don’t wanna skip this place.

Had some buddies visiting from out of town so I brought them here and the food and service was fantastic as usual. The coconut curry ramen has a bit of a kick but is fantastic. Other buddies had classic ramen and were big fans

Not sure why this place isnt closer to 4.9 stars because every time we visit the food and service are top notch. We always pick this place as our go to for lunch on our 5 mile walks to uptown because its always a solid place to eat, never been disappointed.

We came for Valentines Day, and it did not disappoint! We got 3 different Benny Buns, and they all had their own unique flavors. I was left wanting more! The Ramen was incredible. It is the best Ramen I have had in the states. While it didn’t beat out the Ramen I had in Japan it brought back a few memories from my time over there. The atmosphere is dark and upscale. They have candles on your table and Sumo wrestling on the TV. I did not have any of their Sake, but the Matcha Whiskey was top notch. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The only issue we had which Moto-i can’t control is the sketchiness of the area at night. That’s Uptown for you but it’s sad to see the area so bad and trashy. Just watch yourself extra careful around here.

Great food. Awesome drink menu including an extensive NA menu. Enjoyed everything! Loved the edamame, wasn’t overly salted like most places.

Pork is tender but more like traditional bbq than Japanese ramen. Noodles are bouncy and cooked nicely. However, the broth is so lackluster it prompted me to write this review. I would never order this again because of the bland broth. I am so underwhelmed, it tastes just like boxed bone broth. Has anyone in the kitchen ever been to Japan? The backbone (literally) of this meal is the broth and this completely misses the mark.
