In town for a Bills/Panthers game and just went to the Mellow Mushroom. The atmosphere was really cool, a mix of wacky and retro-futuristic. The staff was beyond great. Our waitress was on point the whole time we were there. And the manager stopped by and was super friendly. If you are in Charlotte you should definitely give this place a try.

I stopped at Mellow Mushroom (Uptown) as a dinner pit stop during a late-night bike ride with my kids. We split a Pacific Rim pizza (their red sauce, mozzarella, honey ham, applewood-smoked bacon, pineapple, and jalapeños) but we skipped the onions and jalapeños for the kiddos sake. Even without those toppings, it was an easy 12 out of 10.
I’ve eaten a ridiculous amount of pizza in my life and I’ve never come across whatever magic Mellow Mushroom puts in their crust. It’s somehow the best part of the whole thing and I’m convinced I’d still crush every slice if they swapped the toppings for nuts and bolts. As long as that crust recipe never changes, they’ll always be a top pizza spot in my book.
And one last note… the ranch is next-level. It’s outrageously good. They charge for it, which feels borderline illegal, but honestly it’s worth every penny.

I ordered pizza and a spinach-anchovy dip with an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes, from uber eats but the order arrived about an hour and a half later. It seemed like the food had been sitting for quite a while, and it was cold when it arrived. I hope they can improve their timing and food quality, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here right now.

I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience we had this past Friday night. I called this location about a month in advance to ask if they can help me with catering for 34 moms and 5th grade boys. They not only helped but they basically did everything. Helped with menu, checked in multiple times leading up, immediately answered all questions along the way, it was like no caterer I had ever worked with. Then comes the part when we arrive. I was nervous with that many people and the ages (with excitement layered in) of all those boys. We walked in and everything was setup – food, drinks, our own area. We had multiple servers just for us. The wait staff was also incredible to our children. Engaging with them, being so kind and patient, making them have even more fun somehow!
I can’t recommend this Mellow Mushroom location more, especially for large parties going to any of the games in the area.

Jessie and Syn are INCREDIBLE!!! They made our visit so warm and welcoming. They made our guest with a birthday feel extra special. They made a birthday dessert and even took photos and videos for us. Such amazing service best mellow mushroom I’ve ever been to!!!!

I really enjoyed my first time at Mellow Mushroom. It was nice dine in pizza date night. Our server Jace was nice, helpful, and very on. The food came out great I enjoyed the fun take on different ways to have a great pizza. The manager Phoenix was great a cares alot about your experience while there. Can’t wait to go back to try something new off the menu.

Pizza was amazing- fluffy crust full of flavor, never had such generous toppings, service was kind and efficient, and as it was a Monday, we had a big pizza and 2 pints of beer for $28! Totally recommend and thanks to our server last night, we had a blast!

The best service overall, the bartender was so kind and very funny. We went with a bunch of our friends and the service was on top of filling our cups and bringing out the food hot. Super cute vibes inside too.
