Id give negative stars if I could. Food is 15-20 minutes late every single time, order is never correct. Its so sad and pathetic that just getting your order in a timely manner and it being correct is impossible. Also we only order for 2 people and they still forget items or get them wrong every single time. The last time I was there, they had 1 order on their screens they were working on and my food was still 20 minutes past the promised time. They had many people working most of whom were standing around doing nothing and I was standing in the to go order area and no one ever addressed me standing there.

Steak N’ Shake is good, this Steak N’ Shake is GREAT. I’ve been eating SNS since college and have had it all around the country from Ohio to Florida to Colorado; this is the best SNS I’ve ever been too. The burger was PERFECT. The fries PERFECT. The shake PERFECT. The kitchen was clean. The staff was friendly. Lots of parking. I absolutely recommend this location! It’s no kidding, the best.

We ordered 2 Tripple Patty Burgers, 2 orders of Fries, and 2 Cokes. Food was good, it was fresh.
The ordering kiosk was okay, but the “scan the barcode at the drink dispenser” with every refill was super frustrating. Additionally, there were no posted instructions… we initially had no clue why the machine wouldn’t dispense, until someone walked over to show us.

I am very dissatisfied with my experiences at this location. I am a delivery driver in this area. I have encountered unacceptable wait times and poor service at this location recently. Today I arrived at the store to pickup a single combo meal. The staff informed me it would be “just a few minutes”. 10 minutes later I ask for the status on the order again. “Just a few minutes” they repeat. Another 10 minutes passes and I pose the same question, only to get the same response. After over 30 minutes of waiting, watching people who arrived after me ordering and receive their food, I am informed they “don’t know” when my order will be prepared, and refuse to provide an explanation.

Ordered a double steak burger with cheese and bacon. I made modifications to the toppings. The burgers are traditionally thin, but this was ridiculous. The cheese was trying to hold the meat together but it had been smashed into 4 pieces of nothingness. No meat had no flavor. The bacon was so thin it was see through and so skinny I thought the 2 pieces were one piece until I picked it up to eat it as the whole sandwich fell apart. All that I could taste was mayo.

I assume and understand for this company to survive it had to make some changes. The format to order is kiosk only. I’m ok with that. But since you have ordered exactly what you want without the miscommunication that seems to happen too often with a human order taker these days, I feel like I expect the back of the house to be even sharper. Wrong. Next time I will see if I can order a scrambled burger with cheese on the kiosk lol…. There is no need to tip because there is no service, unless you preder to tip at all the pther fast food restaurants too, because that is what Steak n Shake has turned into. A person yells your name when your food is ready. The rest is on you before and after the food arrives. The new look is nice and bright and updated, but the new structure of Steak ‘n Shake is flawed.
The idea of taking the waiter/waitress away has created something instead that resembles a customer service line at Kohls where everyone is standing there complaining about what there order is missing. It creates tension in a place that is trying to hold on to being a sit down restaurant. And this location had a person yelling names who looked like she has a bad day everyday. I hate leaving bad reviews but I couldn’t find a silver lining.

It was a wild visit. The cooks and staff were all friendly and efficient but the entire time we were there, Jasmine, the manager was literally screaming at or threatening the other employees loudly from the kitchen so that everyone inside could hear everything. She was shouting things like “this is the worst and most disgusting place I have ever worked”, “do your own job, I’m not paid to keep up with your work, yet that’s all I’m doing”, “if I catch a single person taking a break I will write everyone up”, and so much more. It was honestly impressive that everyone working with her did not just walk out and leave. It was 2pm on a Saturday with 3 groups dining in.. there was hardly a reason to be screaming, let alone threatening anyone.
When we were ordering, another customer was waiting for part of his order to be resolved and when a cook stated the manager was working on it for him, he actually stated “please no. She just yelled at me for asking for frisco sauce so I would rather her not touch my food.”
All of the other employees did a great job in such an uncomfortable situation and were very friendly with everyone trying to have lunch. They deserve a raise.. and some peace.

2-20-2026 made the drive to this location after seeing they are open until 1 am I arrived at 11:50 pm to be rudely informed that they are closed through the drive through speaker I understand the need to close early due to staffing issues etc. The employee behind the microphone made it very clear he was angry I was there 1 hour and 10 minutes before the posted closing time.
