Serving made-to-order breakfast and lunch in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. We love good food, good people, and bringing them together!

As hash brown lovers, we are in heaven. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The atmosphere is perfect for a weekend breakfast. Busy but still relaxed. We were seated quickly, and served attentively but not overbearing.

We tried all three hash browns dishes, and they were all amazing.

Cafe Strudel is definitely on our breakfast list for return visits.

They recommended the hubby to order the hangover hash, portion was good and you could tell everything was fresh and cooked from scratch, me being obsessed eggs Benedict fan did not see it at first but i’m so glad I ordered it. In my particular opinion this are the best eggs Benedicts I have had in a while, poached eggs cooked to perfection and hollandais sauce was so good with a little kick, ham was thinly sliced accompanied with a glass of freshly squeezed oj mimosa was perfect breakfast!! Service was great.

Upon arrival hostess said we would have a 25 minute wait. To our surprise, we were seated in 10 minutes.
Menu full variety of brunch and lunch items. Portions large and very much fitting to the price of each product on the menu. Leftovers were taken home!
Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient.
We did not feel pushed to finish and leave.
We would recommend 5+

Love the self serve coffee bar with a good selection of blends. We go here for breakfast because the dishes a new spin on old favorites. Bar is open if you want a mimosa or bloody Mary and drink prices are reasonable. Food is great!

I have loved this restaurant for 10+ years and am deeply saddened that the menu changed. I understand changes have to be made to keep up with the times. This restaurant has always been known for their amazing hash brown options. New menu only has 2 available. The low country hash browns with the pimento cheese and shrimp were the best thing on the menu. We went there today for a birthday brunch and were disappointed. I ordered a full hangover hash browns since the best low country was no longer on the menu. My plate was only half full. There were more banana peppers than cheese. Overall it was ok. I hope the new owners bring the low country hash browns back. I do appreciate that you can still call ahead to get on the waitlist. When you call the Lexington location is still listed- fyi.

If you’re reading this, just go to Waffle House you’ll save money and have better food.

The grits are not cooked through. The brisket biscuits are so chewy, you can’t chew it.

The only thing was good was the fresh squeezed orange juice, I would give this item 5 stars.

When we ask to return the biscuit, we had to find our waitress. We also had to ask for butter. It would have been nice to have butter and jam on the table. We wanted jam, but after trying to find our waitress and asking for 2 things, we decided it wasn’t worth it to ask for some jam.

I’m posting a picture of the uncooked grits, you can tell by the picture. I’m also posting a picture of the receipt, which you can see what this nasty food cost. Also look at how you’re supposed to flush the toilet.

For the $5 coffee, you have to serve yourself

Wow! Just wow!

We were only in Columbia for 2 days. At dinner, our first night, we asked our waitstaff where we should eat breakfast the next morning. She recommended Café Strudel.

We were not disappointed! The food was great! The service was fast!

You get to serve yourself coffee, which is really nice, because you can make it how you would like it, and you could go get more whenever you would like.

We liked it so much, we are going to eat breakfast there the second morning, tomorrow!

Treat yourself, go check this place out for breakfast!

Traveling thru the area, Cafe Strudel caught my attention for breakfast. Delightful spot where locals & travelers stop to get caffeine, food & caught up on all things local. Charming place & tasty food … sadly I was passing thru & don’t live nearby so my exploration of the menu must wait. Definitely a nice spot for coffee, a meal or just catching up with friends.
