Bonjour! After the 3 months closure due to METRO TUNNEL works, Roule Galette re-opened with a strong connection with his little brother: Croque Monsieur, next door. We have installed 3 crepe-machines at Croque Monsieur; then if the queue bothers you on Flinders Lane, come to seat @ Croque Monsieur and you will find some of the same crepes and galettes. And for the future, we will evolve to what you feel better. Roule Galette is a traditional French Crêperie opened since 2007 in Melbourne. You will find a large choice of savoury galettes (crêpes made from buckwheat flour) and sweet crêpes. Our Galettes are gluten free, safe for our coeliac customers! At Roule Galette, we bring you to France for a moment with traditional food, drinks, music

Busy, cosy French creperie with a warm vibe, offering sweet and savoury options, cider and wine.

We found this little gem after attending the AO, with just a quick Google search. So glad we found it. We felt like a sweet treat, which Roule Galette satisfied.
A cosy little place with a French vibe. French music playing, and on each table lovely small vases with fresh flowers. A great place if you love to people watch due to its location.
Our crepes were made beautifully, which were both delicious and aesthetically pleasing.
We ordered the Crème De L’ Ardeche which was filled with a delicate chestnut spread, and the Strawberry Queen, which we swapped the cream with ice cream and maple syrup (there was a price adjustment). Staff were very accomodating.
For drinks we ordered a cappuccino and Cafe Viennois which had lashings of whipped cream. Coffee was very good.
We’re already talking about returning.

What a delight!! After an afternoon at MJ The Muscial we decided a crepe was in order.
This little laneway creperie is fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with delightful smells of stewed fruits and fresh brewed coffee.
The menu is filled with numerous savoury and sweet crepes. I found it hard to select the sweet options from the many delicious choices.
We shared a Campagnarde as savoury and La Belle Normande as the sweet, yum yum yum!!!! Generous portions, delicious flavours and definitely enough to share.
The service was prompt and efficient, even though they were busy.
We will definitely be back for more, thank you.

We love everything about this place. The food is gorgeous and the staff are so lovely. Watching them cook the crepes and galettes in the kitchen from our table is fascinating. The variety of vegan options keeps me happy and I highly recommend the one with mushrooms, potato and pesto
The crepe Suzette also comes highly recommended. We loved this place so much we’ve given vouchers to people for Xmas gifts.

Busy little restaraunt. Unexpected deliciousness. The regular crepes were light and tasty. The Gluten Free crepes were a little denser but tasted just as delicious.

Roule Galette is a small and cozy place with authentic Breton food – the flavors were really good. However, my experience was spoiled by a big disappointment. I ordered a galette with Norman Camembert and asked to add ham. My request was forgotten, and when I reminded the staff, they simply brought three slices of ham on a separate plate, not even warmed or grilled.

On top of that, we were three people and were seated at a tiny table meant for two – it was really uncomfortable. Even worse, my friend ordered a galette with shellfish and found pieces of shell in the filling, nearly breaking a tooth.

A complete fiasco!

Staff were very friendly and enthusiastic.
I ordered gluten free crepes, they immediately asked if i was celiac and were very accommodating and informed me of their processes.
The gluten free crepes were well worth the extra $2.50, I found they were larger than the regular crepes!
I totally recommend this place for anyone in melbourne who is gluten free or celiac!

Absolutely delicious. We had the Salmon and the complete, beautiful clean flavours. Also the flat white was made beautifully. The staff were very lovely and fast! We sat outside and the light breeze and calm vibes created a beautiful breakfast experience. 10/10

Rolue Galette is a must-try for crepe lovers! I had one sweet and one savory crepe, and both were absolutely delicious. The food and service are excellent, and everything tastes freshly made. A lovely little spot that brings a real taste of France — highly recommended!

Had a great reblochon galette, absolutely delicious and an orangina for nostalgia. They can speak both English and French which is good if you want to practice or dust off your french. I recommend coming in if you miss some french traditional food
