Festive locale with a bowling alley & classic games offering comfort food & a self-serve tap room.

Please note* Somebody’s grandma is in the back cooking them delicious Collard Greens! Me and a friend stopped in for dinner, we ate at the bar. Our server was awesome! We tried several menu options. We ordered a a few small plates to get started. We tried the Southwest Loaded Fries which were delicious. We also tried the Smoked Gouda Mac and Chesse which was good. For my entrée I had the Smoked Pork Chop with a double order of Collard Greens, and boy that Pork Chop was amazing! Those Collard Greens were phenomenal! I would make a trip back just to eat that alone. My friend had the Blackened Ribeye cooked medium well which was delicious also. Loved the atmosphere, and service!

Went on a Valentines date on Friday the 13th about 7 pm. At this time the bar is not crowded and seating is available. They have music on Friday and Saturday nights. They have a variety of American style dishes including chicken and waffles.
The best drink deal to share is the margarita flat consists of regular, mango, peach, and strawberry. Mmmm
This is now my easy goto for an evening out.
One minus, the bar seats are terrible, your butt sinks down compressing the back of the leg.

Loved! Loved! Loved! I went on a Friday night and really enjoyed the ambiance. There was a live musician singing and playing instruments (harmonica, keyboard, and a guitar). Server was awesome, wait time wasn’t long, and food was good. In the back there is also a bowling alley. ( I don’t bowl, but I heard you have to have reservations for it, you have to call to find out). I ordered the Citrus Salad and added salmon, very good. We ordered the smoked gouda macaroni for the appetizer to try and it was awesome. I will be back to try additional menu items.

The manager was an absolute jerk. The two bartenders behind the bar were laughing about how he had no idea what he was doing.
I’d had a rough day and decided to try somewhere new. The hostesses were sweet and honest about the menu, so I gave it a shot. The place was surprisingly big — turns out it’s a bowling alley — but pretty dirty and worn down, especially in daylight.
My waitress and the hostess were both lovely. I ordered the $42 blackened ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes. The sides were phenomenal, but the steak was awful — thin, gristly, overcooked, and barely edible. I quietly told my waitress that everything else was great but the steak was terrible. I specifically said, “Please don’t mention it to your manager because I don’t want him to take it off my bill. I just want you to tell the chef later, quietly. Sometimes things get missed when it’s busy, and I don’t want him getting in trouble — I’ll still eat it or my husband will.”
Instead, she told the manager right away as I’m sure she didn’t want him upset. He didn’t realize I was sitting nearby and said loudly, “All you can do is say sorry and get over it.” When he saw me, he just shrugged. Later, he came over with a fake apology — “I think we overcooked your steak a little” — and I told him I’d already heard his response and that my only issue was how he treated both his staff and his customers.
In short — great waitress, sweet hostess, good sides, awful steak, and a completely unprofessional manager. I apologized the girls as I left the restaurant for their rude ah manager and they said oh we get it. Which told me they’ve dealt with him before. He seemed overwhelmed. Someone needs a demotion and to be retrained.

We went there to host a team building event and it was loud. Music played, people continuously walked through our event, and the cooks in the back were being louder than ever. Not a great place to host an event. Afterwards, we were going to.bowl and we only got through 3 frames and ran out of balls. Their machines were not returning the balls. It was an all out mess for having paid nearly $1500 for the event. Definitely would not host anither one thete no matter what anyone says or sells me.

A fun local spot in the Downtown Columbia area. I’ve enjoyed coming here in the past for group birthday events or just to grab lunch with a friend after exploring the weekend Soda City vendor market. You can also find some gluten-free and dairy free options on the menu.
Our server Jessica J was wonderful; kind, well educated on the menu and an all around lovely human. She definitely deserves a raise!

Food is fine, service was great and everyone was very nice. That said, they charge $18 for a single shot of liquor even though the cocktails they sell allegedly have 2 shots and cost the same amount. If you’re willing to pay the same amount as an entire bottle of liquor for a drink, this is the place for you.

I’ve always had a wonderful time here so when I wanted to have my birthday here it was a no brainer. Everything was perfect, every time I called them they answered the phone. I felt like I was able to have great communication with the hostess and they were always so so friendly when I called. The service was wonderful and accommodating, and I was able to bring my cake and light my candles inside. The brunch food was great! I got the breakfast scrambler and omg so delicious, and the mimosa flights were so good. Prices are very reasonable and the experience I had I would recommend anyone to have their birthday there. Thank you to the restaurant staff – you guys are great!

This was a cool spot. Think cozy lounge meets old school bowling alley. It’s best to reserve well in advance before the day you want to go. When we went, 3 or 4 of the 7 lanes were out of order, and the rest were already booked up, so we were out of luck. We still stayed and ended up having a delicious meal, so it was worth the trip there. The shrimp and grits was yum yum yummy!

The Grand on Main Street isn’t just a place to grab a bite or a drink; it’s a consistently great experience. What truly sets it apart is that the food is always good. Seriously, every dish I’ve tried has been delicious and well-prepared.
But beyond the satisfying meals, the staff at The Grand are exceptional. They’re attentive, friendly, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, which creates such a welcoming atmosphere.
Speaking of atmosphere, my last visit was particularly memorable. There was a Hennessy special happening, and the representatives there were fantastic! They were so nice and fun to chat with, adding an extra layer of energy to the evening. It was one of those nights that reminded me that the difference between just going to a bar and having a truly good experience often comes down to the people. In this case, a huge thank you goes to Jessica and Chan. Their attentiveness and positive energy really elevated the whole evening. They exemplify the kind of service that makes The Grand a standout spot. They have the indescribable X factor quality that just makes one a winner. Thank you Jessica and Chan!
